The trails at Dare Valley Country Park offer a realchance to get away from the hustle and bustle and get back to nature.The walks range from family-friendly to strenuous and all start from the visitor centre.Way-marked RoutesBwllfa Trail:This is a short, circular walk around thevalley floor, passing the Cascade waterfalland following sections of the River Dare.Cae Mawr Trail:This pleasant criss-cross circular route dipsin and out of wooded areas and travelsalong the side of the valley. Walkers feelingespecially fit might want to stop at the TrimTrail along the way for an extra workout.Penrhiwllech Trail:This is a strenuous route taking walkers overrough terrain onto an upland plateau, theTarren y Bwllfa. The Dare Valley is a classicexample of a glaciated U-shaped valleyand Tarren y Bwllfa is the glacial “cwm” atits head.
