Gascoyne Junction.<br />
With over 20,000 <strong>Toll</strong> staff based in Australia, the<br />
company has launched an appeal to support our<br />
colleagues affected by these natural disasters.<br />
The <strong>Toll</strong> Australian Flood Appeal will double all contributions,<br />
matching all staff donations on a dollar for dollar basis.<br />
The money raised will then be distributed amongst <strong>Toll</strong><br />
staff who have been most affected. With a number of<br />
staff affected by these events, the funds raised will help<br />
our colleagues to start to rebuild their lives.<br />
The response so far has been overwhelming with many<br />
business units and depots supporting the <strong>Toll</strong> Australian<br />
Flood Appeal by holding events and raising cash for the<br />
cause. <strong>Toll</strong> Dnata Airport Services in Mascot, NSW held<br />
a fundraiser on 18 January <strong>2011</strong> involving a sausage sizzle<br />
and raffle. Staff, airline clients and drivers dug deep and<br />
raised A$726 which was then topped up with a A$200<br />
donation from the social club, totalling A$926.<br />
<strong>Toll</strong> Liquids completed a challenge to remain 120 days<br />
incident free and were awarded A$5,000 from the customer<br />
Shell. This was for the drivers’ chosen charity, which they<br />
nominated as the Queensland Flood Appeal.<br />
SuPPoRTinG ouR CuSToMERS<br />
<strong>Toll</strong> Priority was heavily involved in supporting the affected<br />
communities immediately after the event. The team was<br />
quick to step in to send bottled drinking water to the worst<br />
hit areas, together with sandbags to support the preparation<br />
efforts. <strong>Toll</strong> Priority was able to establish contingency<br />
plans to ensure banking and other businesses remained<br />
operational. We received the following letters of thanks<br />
from two major banks.<br />

Suncorp<br />
While Suncorp group Procurement holds the Brisbane<br />
<strong>Toll</strong> Priority team in high regard, their support over the<br />
last weeks deserves formal recognition.<br />
It has come to my attention that despite being personally<br />
affected by the Brisbane floods, Julie TeRangi and Michael<br />
Rivers worked throughout the crisis to help Suncorp work<br />
through the movement and holding of mailbags and assisted<br />
with an alternative for our UPSL clearance arrangement.<br />
In our minds this level of commitment to Suncorp and our<br />
end customers is worthy of commendation. Suncorp <strong>Group</strong><br />
Procurement is thankful and impressed.<br />
