Lap BeltIf your vehicle has a front split seat and a rearseat, someone can sit in the center positions.benchWhen you sit in a center seating position, you have lap asafety belt, which has no retractor. To make the beltlonger, tilt the latch plate and pull it along the belt.To make the belt shorter, pull its free end as shown untilthe belt is snug.Buckle, position and release it the s.ame way as the lappart of .a lap-shoulder belt.
