<strong>Demonstration</strong> <strong>Speech</strong> DirectionsThird GradeTeacher: Miss TruittAssigned: Monday, October 10Due Date: Monday, October 17For the demonstration speech, you will need to demonstrate how to do acertain activity or process. Choose a topic you are comfortable telling othersabout. If your topic includes showing how to make a certain type of food,understand that you may not share your final product with the class. This is dueto Brownsburg’s nutrition guidelines. Also, you may need to make note cards tohelp you remember what you need to say during the speech. For the speech, youwill be graded on the following things:Eye Contact: Are you looking at your audience (classmates) during yourspeech?Knowledge of Process: Did you use ordinal words, such as, first, next, andlast? Do you understand the step-by-step directions of your speech?Confidence/Enthusiasm: Do you know what you need to say in your speech?Are you excited and happy to be giving your speech?Preparedness: Are you ready for the speech? Do you have all materialsneeded for your speech?Content: Did you show all steps in the process?
