You canchoose your own celebrant to offici<strong>at</strong>e the ceremony.He/she must be registered in either Australia or NewZealand, depending on which port you are marrying in.Wedding c<strong>eremonies</strong> are held on board while the shipis in port on the day of embark<strong>at</strong>ion, allowing yourcelebrant to disembark prior to sail away.Wedding coordin<strong>at</strong>orOur C<strong>eremonies</strong> <strong>at</strong> <strong>Sea</strong> coordin<strong>at</strong>or will be the point ofcontact for your special occasion. While On BoardWhere is the wedding venue on board?Our C<strong>eremonies</strong> <strong>at</strong> <strong>Sea</strong> coordin<strong>at</strong>or will meet yourgroup on embark<strong>at</strong>ion and run through the day’s event,including venue loc<strong>at</strong>ion and timing. The coordin<strong>at</strong>or willpersonally escort the bride to the venue.I am having a wedding on board, wh<strong>at</strong> do I do withmy luggage?We recommend th<strong>at</strong> you pack any items th<strong>at</strong> you requirefor your wedding ceremony in your carry-on luggage.Other suitcases can be checked in prior to boarding andwill be delivered to your cabin during the evening. Pleasenote, it will be the couple’s responsibility to handle andcare for all carry-on luggage, such as dresses, suits etc.Are there any celebr<strong>at</strong>ion items th<strong>at</strong> cannot bebrought on board for my ceremony?Items such as alcohol, rice, confetti, petals and candleswill not be allowed on board for any ceremony. Terms and conditionsIntroductionThese are the terms and conditions under which you bookyour C<strong>eremonies</strong> <strong>at</strong> <strong>Sea</strong> package on any P&O <strong>Cruises</strong>’ship. You are bound by these ‘Terms and conditions’, soit is important th<strong>at</strong> you read them carefully. These termsand conditions should be read in conjunction with ourcruise ‘Terms & Conditions’, which can be found online<strong>at</strong> pocruises.com.au (AU), pocruises.co.nz (NZ), or in thecurrent P&O <strong>Cruises</strong> brochure.P&O <strong>Cruises</strong>/We/Our/Us means Carnival plc. You areentering into this contract with Carnival plc trading asP&O <strong>Cruises</strong>, ARBN 107 998 443.Certain laws such as the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth)and any applicable st<strong>at</strong>e based consumer legisl<strong>at</strong>ion(from here known as ‘consumer laws’), are in place foryour protection. It is essential th<strong>at</strong> full payment is received byus within three days from when the booking is made. Ifpayment is not received within this time, our system willautom<strong>at</strong>ically cancel both your ceremony package andcruise booking.Your packageC<strong>eremonies</strong> <strong>at</strong> <strong>Sea</strong> packages have been cre<strong>at</strong>ed toinclude all the essential fe<strong>at</strong>ures for your special day.Please note, your package does not include your cruisefare or any optional extras. You are welcome to add yourown personal touch by selecting from the Extra touchesfor your day section, however, we are unable to alter orsubstitute any items in the standard package.18

For larger groups, please call our C<strong>eremonies</strong><strong>at</strong> <strong>Sea</strong> team to discuss availability. Wedding or civil unionpackages require a minimum of 10 <strong>at</strong>tendees.Other service providersParts of your package, such as floral arrangementsand cakes, are supplied by other service providers. Theservice providers are solely responsible for the product orservice offered and their conditions will apply. Should aservice provider be unable to fulfil their responsibility, wewill assist in addressing any concerns you may have.Any arrangements made by or for you are yourresponsibility and entirely <strong>at</strong> your own risk.Unforeseen changes to your ceremonyWe will do everything we reasonably can to makesure your celebr<strong>at</strong>ion goes according to plan. However,sometimes changes happen th<strong>at</strong> may affect yourC<strong>eremonies</strong> <strong>at</strong> <strong>Sea</strong> experience. This could includewe<strong>at</strong>her, mechanical difficulties, civil unrest or any otherunforeseen circumstances.All ceremony times are approxim<strong>at</strong>e and may be delayedor postponed. In addition, the loc<strong>at</strong>ion of the ceremonymay be substituted, due to unforeseen events. If awedding or civil union ceremony cannot be performed onthe specified d<strong>at</strong>e, the couple will have the option of:1. A symbolic ceremony during the cruise and a 50%refund of your package priceor2. A full refund of your package price.If we are required to cancel the cruise for any reason, allpackages will be refunded in full.We will notify you of any changes th<strong>at</strong> will impact yourceremony as soon as we can. Please ensure you arefamiliar with our cruise Terms and Conditions.Legal m<strong>at</strong>ters for weddings and civil unionc<strong>eremonies</strong>Weddings and civil unions will be conducted inaccordance with Australian law in Australian portsand New Zealand law in New Zealand ports. For legalreasons, civil unions can only be conducted in NewZealand. Renewal of vows and commitment c<strong>eremonies</strong>are not recognised by law.It is your responsibility, in conjunction with yourregistered celebrant, to determine whether you arelegally free to enter into a marriage or civil union and toensure th<strong>at</strong> your ceremony is conducted in accordancewith the relevant laws. You should seek independentlegal advice about the recognition of your marriage orcivil union in other countries as laws vary.P&O <strong>Cruises</strong> does not accept liability for invalid marriagesor civil unions as a result of the parties’ failure to complywith relevant laws of their country of domicile.While all inform<strong>at</strong>ion in this brochure is correct <strong>at</strong> thetime of public<strong>at</strong>ion, some details may change.
