AN EXCERPT FROM THE RULES UPON PARTICIPATION AT BELGRADE FAIR EVENTS AND THE CONTRACT SPECIAL CONDITIONSThe Fair defines the following exhibitor categories:EXHIBITORSCompanies exhibiting their own products and renting aspecific exhibition space for it and the right to theregistration in the official Fair Catalogue, as well as theright to use any other services included in Belgrade Fair'soffer. The Exhibitors shall install their company name onthe fascia board, at their stand.CO-EXHIBITORSIf the stand rented by the Exhibitor includes also exhibitsof other companies, under presence of the staff of suchother companies, such companies shall be applied asCo-Exhibitors. The Co-Exhibitors shall submit separateApplication Forms for Participation and the CompulsoryRegistration in the Official Fair Catalogue.The Co-Exhibitors shall install their company nameequally with the Exhibitors on the fascia board, at theirstand.Should the Exhibitor apply for the Co-Exhibitor'sparticipation and Registration in the Official FairCatalogue, he shall submit the Co-Exhibitor'sauthorization to do so with the Application Form.The Exhibitor shall have the right to install the Co-Exhibitor company names, as stated above, at his stand,only if he applied such Co-Exhibitors to Belgrade Fair.The Fair shall submit to the Exhibitors the forms for theuse of electrical power, water, telephone, additional carparking cards, official gate passes and any otherservices. The Exhibitor shall fill in the forms he may findnecessary and return them to Belgrade Fair within thestipulated deadline. Should he fail to do so, Belgrade Fairshall not be responsible for providing the Exhibitor withsuch services. These services shall be charged accordingto the valid Belgrade Fair Price List, based upon theprovided service confirmation.The Exhibitor shall obey the opening and closing datesof the Fair event and particularly arrange for his standwith the exhibits to be operating by the Fair eventclosing.Should the Exhibitor fail to act in accordance with theprevious item, which shall be stated in writing by the HallSupervisor, the Exhibitor shall pay the Contract penaltyto the amount of EUR.800.00.The exhibiting space price shall include the followingservices:- Publishing the Exhibitor's data (complete businessaddress, telephone, fax, E-mail, http and therepresentation office address) in the Exhibitor Register ofthe Official Fair Catalogue and CD-Rom.- Publishing of not more than 20 words of text describingthe Exhibitor's product range or activity in the ExhibitorRegister of the Official Fair Catalogue and the CD-Rom.- Publishing the Exhibitor's logo in the Fair Catalogue andCD-Rom.The Official Catalogue shall be printed in Serbian andEnglish languages. Exhibitors are responsible for theaccuracy of the provided data. The Catalogue EditorialStaff reserves the right to adjust the titles of the productsstated in this Application to those contained in the FairCatalogue nomenclature.INSURANCEExhibits and any other Exhibitor's property shall be insuredby local or international insurance companies at allBelgrade Fair events.Any responsibility for damage to the exhibits and/or anyother Exhibitor's property, if such exhibits and/or propertyare not insured in a way stipulated by the previous item,shall be completely borne by the Exhibitor.CONTRACTING AND PAYMENT METHOD1.The Exhibitor shall make payment:- For the rented exhibiting space, stand constructionand fitting, water, power and telephone connection afterreceipt of the proforma invoice, before the event opening.- For the power, water and telephone consumption notlater than 10 days after the event closing.The payment shall be provided for in accordance withthe Asset Turnover Law.In case of any delayed payment or payment after theContract deadline, the exhibitor shall pay the legalofficially published interest rate. Should the interest ratenot be known at the calculation time, the index from theprvious month shall be applied accordingly.2. The Exhibitor may withdraw the submitted Applicationfor Participation not later than 15 (fifteen) days upon theApplication registration in Belgrade Fair Archive Office.Should the Exhibitor withdraw the Application after theafore mentioned date, the Exhibitor shall pay to BelgradeFair the rent fee for the applied exhibiting space and anyother expenses caused by the Exhibitor's participationcancellation.The Application for Participation has the legal forceof a Contract. In case of any disputes, the ContractParties have agreed to settle such disputes underthe present Contract by the Court in Belgradehaving the actual jurisdiction to do so.The General Regulations for Participation atBelgrade Fair Events (www.sajam.rs) and SpecialRules upon Participation at Belgrade Book Fairshall be a form part of the present Contract.

Any product exhibitingnot included in such definition shall be possible only upon a specialorganizer's decision. The side event program organizing approvalshall be solely the responsibility of the Belgrade Book Fair Board.Article 4.Location of the basic exhibiting groups in the exhibiting halls:- Hall 1 Arena: The publishers having publishing as their basicactivity, the Guest of Honor at the Belgrade Book Fair- Hall 1 Boulevard Ground Floor Level and the River Sava GroundFloor Level: Local publishers having publishing as their basicactivity- Hall 1 gallery: The publishers having publishing as their basicactivity- Hall 2A: National presentations, international publishers, thepublishers having education as their basic activity (faculties, schools,etc.), school and trade literature publishers- Hall 4: Local and international publishers, governmentauthorities/institutions (Ministries, libraries, museums, etc.) andthose within religion and theology, book sales, distributors- Hall 4 Gallery: Used and antiquity book salesArticle 5.The exhibitors shall apply for one of the following exhibitingcategories:- Rent of raw exhibiting space- Rent of standard fitted exhibiting space- Rent of a standard book sales bookshop.Article 6.The exhibitors shall apply for the participation in the Fair by fillingin the following forms:- The Application Forms for Participation in the Belgrade Book Fair(Form 1). The Application for Participation in the InternationalBelgrade Book Fair shall be the Contract, by which the exhibitordeclares that he rents the exhibiting space defined in theApplication and accepts the General Rules upon Participation inBelgrade Fair Events and the Special Rules upon Participation inthe International Belgrade Book Fair (Form 1a).- Applications for the Fair Catalog (Form 2)- Technical Description of the Standard Stand and Bookshop in theStand Constructed Space Rent (Form 3a)The applications for Participation in the Belgrade Book Fairthshall be received not later than August 30 2013.Article 7.Belgrade Fair offers to the Exhibitors also the following optionalServices:- Exhibiting space construction and fitting (Form 3b)- Other technical services (water, power and/or telephoneconnection, etc.) (Form 4)- Advertising services (Form 5)- Participation in the side event programs (Form 6).Article 8.The exhibitors and bookshop lessees in the Halls 2a and 4 may sellat their rented stands their own and someone else's editions.The minimum exhibiting space at the Belgrade Book Fair shall be 12square meters, which is also the standard bookshop space. Theexhibiting space allocation shall be carried out not laterthan September 17th, 2013.The deadline for the floor plan publishing is September 24,2013.Article 9.The exhibiting space allocation shall be carried out based upon thefollowing criteria (Serbian Publishers only):1) The number of the published editions between the twoInternational Belgrade Book Fairs2) Market recognizability3) Tradition4) The requested space size5) Obeying the rules of the International Belgrade Book Fair6) Fulfilling the financial liabilities toward Belgrade FairArticle 10.Prizes shall be awarded at the Belgrade Book Fair in accordancewith the decision of the Belgrade Book Fair Board (SerbianPublishers only).Article 11.The official catalog of the Belgrade Book Fair shall be printed inSerbian and English language. The exhibitors shall be responsiblefor the data accuracy. The catalog editorial board reserves theright to reconcile the product titles stated in the Application withthose from the fair catalog nomenclature.Article 12.The Exhibitor shall make payment:- For the rented exhibiting space, stand construction and fitting,water, power and telephone connection after receipt of theproforma invoice, before the event opening.- For the power, water and telephone consumption not later than10 days after the event closing.The payment shall be provided for in accordance with the AssetTurnover Law.In case of any delayed payment or payment after the Contractdeadline, the exhibitor shall pay the legal officially published interestrate. Should the interest rate not be known at the calculation time,the index from the prvious month shall be applied accordingly.Article 13.Any official and car parking passes shall be charged in accordancewith the Belgrade Fair Price List.The terms and conditions of the Articles 16 and 17, item 2 of theGeneral Rules upon Participation in Belgrade Fair Events(www.sajam.rs) shall not be applied to the exhibitors at theBelgrade Book Fair 2013.The Exhibitors shall obey the stipulations of the Belgrade Book FairSpecial Rules, as well as operate in accordance with the valid Lawsof the Republic of Serbia during their participation in the BelgradeBook Fair.Belgrade Fair

INSTRUCTIONS FOR TECHNICAL SERVICE CONTRACTINGThe services mentioned in the Technical Service PriceList can be contracted solely in the Inspection Office ofthe relevant exhibiting hall, where also information onother services that can be rendered by Belgrade Faircan be obtained respectively. The afore mentionedservices are not included in the exhibiting space rental orconstruction price and they are subject to additionalpayment.ELECTRICITYBelgrade Fair power has got the voltage of 220 V singlephase and 3 x 380 V three phase alternating power of 50Hz. Any cables and/or devices shall be compatible foroperation under the said voltage and frequency. Formanufacturing of cabling for connection of variousdevices, machines, and lights, as for protection from thetuch-in voltage, regulations on manufacturing oftemporary electrical cables shall be applied accordingly.A stand shall have a switchboard, fully in accordancewith the regulations, Belgrade Fair will connect it to thenetwork. The connection of the installed cables shall beapproved by an authorized employee of Belgrade FairElectricity Department.TELEPHONEBelgrade Fair has got an internal mail telephoneexchange for its users, which enables all kind ofincoming and outgoing telephone calls automatically(an operator calling for the connection is necessary).The connection means a connection to the telephonenetwork with a telephone set, whereas usage of anadditional set or fax machine is subject to additionalpayment in accordance with the price list.WATERBelgrade Fair plumbing has got the connection size 3/4inch, which can be reset to 1/2 inch upon request. Anywater connection made by an exhibitor shall beapproved by Belgrade Fair authorized staff.STAFF ENGAGEMENTSubject to filling in the relevant form and additionalpayment in accordance with the Price List, Belgrade Fairputs to its exhibitors disposal staff for all types of worksmentioned therein.COMPULSORY FEE FOR THE MUTUAL COSTS:The Exhibitors constructing their stands themselvesshall pay the compulsory fee for mutual costsaccording to the rented exhibiting space, as follows:- For the stands up to 100 sq. m. the fee shall be paidper 1 sq. m.- For the stands from 101 to 200 sq. m. - the lumpsum equal to the fee amount for 100 sq. m.- For the stands from 201 to 500 sq. m. - 50% of thestand space- For the stands exceeding 500 sq. m. - 30% of thestand spaceEXHIBIT INSURANCEBelgrade Fair is not insured against theft of displayedexhibits. We recommend our exhibitors to conclude thefair event insurance. The insurance can be concludedthrough a Belgrade Fair Insurance Department, in theHead Office roomBelgrade Fair shall not be responsible for any noninsured exhibits, equipment or other property of anexhibitor whatsoever, in case of a damage (theft,damaging, etc), during mounting, the event anddismantle period. CONTRACTING CONDITIONSPlease send a general idea, in the file form (Floppy Disk, CD, USB Flash Disk) with your filled in and sealed Application or by e-mail(in.ad@sajam.rs), not later than twenty days before the event opening.The Advertising Department shall reserve an adequate space for you, as well as a different advertising component, if the requested space hasalready been rented, in accordance with the available space and the dates of the application, as well as its receipt of documents.The rent price of all advertising components shall be related to the duration period of each fair event, other than the items otherwise defined(rented on a day or monthly basis).The Fair shall control the advertising components during the fair events. In case of any damage of such components, the Fair shall replace themas soon as possible, at its own cost.Any specific orders shall be contracted personally (facade or window graphics, megaboard, rent of the advertising balloons,distribution of advertising materials along with entry tickets, etc).Any installation of advertising towers, fascias, columns or wall panels exceeding the height of 3 meters shall be subject to theapproval of the Advertising Department and the Design Office.The flag poles and flags shall not be installed independently outside the rented advertising space.Any advertising components individually installed by an exhibitor on the Fair ground (banners, flags, rigid components, etc.) shallbe charged by the valid prices from the present price list.
