Lay theregulator body in the bottom of the door, thenwithdraw the gear mechanism <strong>and</strong> cablefollowed by the rigid “pillar”.Refitting5 Refit the regulator by reversing the methodof removal, ensuring that it is securely rivetedto the door.6 Refit the door window glass, as describedin Section 32.7 Re-secure the PVC sheet then refit the doorinner trim panel as described in Section 21.Electric front regulatorRemovalNote: For motor removal <strong>and</strong> refittingprocedure, refer to <strong>Chapter</strong> 12.8 Remove the door inner trim panel, asdescribed in Section 21.9 Locally detach the PVC sheet from the doorto allow access into the door cavity. Do nottear the sheet; cut closely around the clips, asrequired.10 Remove the door window glass, asdescribed in Section 32.11 Disconnect the multi-plug on the regulatormotor body, <strong>and</strong> remove the three nutssecuring the motor/winding mechanismsection of the assembly to the door.12 Drill the heads off the regulator securingrivets <strong>and</strong> manoeuvre the regulator assemblyfrom the door. Lay the regulator body in thebottom of the door, then withdraw the gearmechanism <strong>and</strong> cable followed by the rigid“pillar”.Refitting13 To refit, first position the regulatorassembly in the door, <strong>and</strong> refit the three nutssecuring the motor/winding mechanismsection.14 Re-rivet the pillar section of the regulatorassembly securely to door.15 Reconnect the multi-plug to the regulatormotor body.16 Refit the door window glass, as describedin Section 32.17 Re-secure the PVC sheet then refit thedoor inner trim panel as described in Section21.Rear regulatorRemoval18 Remove the door inner trim panel, asdescribed in Section 21.19 Locally detach the PVC sheet from thedoor to allow access into the door cavity. Donot tear the sheet; cut closely around theclips, as required.20 Drill the heads off the four regulatorsecuring rivets, <strong>and</strong> remove the two lower
