<strong>Moore</strong>’s Campus<strong>Moore</strong>’s vibrant Center City Philadelphia campus is located just <strong>of</strong>f Logan Square on BenjaminFranklin Parkway. Many <strong>of</strong> our youth classes take advantage <strong>of</strong> <strong>Moore</strong>’s location by including<strong>of</strong>f-site trips to artistic <strong>and</strong> cultural attractions at no additional cost. Additionally, youth classestake advantage <strong>of</strong> Aviator Park <strong>and</strong> Logan Square, both located across the street from <strong>Moore</strong><strong>College</strong>, by holding classes in these outdoor areas when the weather permits.<strong>Moore</strong> <strong>College</strong> is a friendly, safe <strong>and</strong> manageable campus. Students can be dropped <strong>of</strong>f in front<strong>of</strong> <strong>Moore</strong>’s main entrance on Race Street between 19th <strong>and</strong> 20th where they will be greetedby college <strong>and</strong>/or youth programs staff. General InformationWe hope our youth programs students will find their time at <strong>Moore</strong> <strong>College</strong> fun,stimulating <strong>and</strong> full <strong>of</strong> new challenges to learn <strong>and</strong> grow. Our mission is to inspire theartistic potential in all youth in an exciting <strong>and</strong> challenging visual arts college environment.<strong>Art</strong> Supplies<strong>Art</strong> supplies are provided to students in courses for grades 1–8. Students in courses for grades 9–12are required to purchase supplies <strong>and</strong> will receive a materials list on the first day <strong>of</strong> class. Please donot purchase supplies ahead <strong>of</strong> time. Instructors will provide information regarding supply options.High school students will need an additional $25 - $50 (approximately) for art supplies.General information • youth programs •14Certificate Programs for High School Students<strong>Moore</strong> <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong>fers <strong>Art</strong> & <strong>Design</strong> <strong>and</strong> Fashion <strong>Design</strong> certificate programs for high school youngadults. Participation in the certificate program is easy! To earn the certificate students must enrollin the program by paying a one-time enrollment fee <strong>of</strong> $25. Students must then take five classeswithin their certificate area in three years. Students receive special recognition upon certificatecompletion <strong>and</strong> many other program benefits.ClassesAll classes are studio based <strong>and</strong> held in <strong>Moore</strong>’s BFA class spaces. Students should plan to arriveapproximately 15–20 minutes before the start <strong>of</strong> class on the first day.Code <strong>of</strong> ConductStudents are expected to follow general behavior rules <strong>of</strong> being respectful <strong>of</strong> each other, theinstructor <strong>and</strong> staff, as well as the college facility. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated <strong>and</strong><strong>Moore</strong> <strong>College</strong> reserves the right to dismiss students from class.
