Environmental ProgramsEnvironmental Farm Plan and Beneficial Management Practices ProgramsThis is a joint program funded through <strong>the</strong> Growing Forward Agreement in cooperationwith AAFC, MOAL, and <strong>the</strong> BC Agricultural Research & Development Corporation(ARDCorp). ARDCorp delivers effective and af<strong>for</strong>dable programs and services thatadvance both <strong>the</strong> individual producer and entire agriculture sector while benefitting localcommunities. These programs are designed to assist producers in developing anenvironmental action plan <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir farm. This is a plan that enhances natural resourcesand reduces <strong>the</strong> possibility <strong>of</strong> accidental harm to soil, air, water and biodiversity values.Environmental farm planning is a no charge, confidential, voluntary process available toproducers to identify both environmental strengths and potential risks on <strong>the</strong>ir farms.
