SportsRemal Team – First Runner Up of the 9 th UFSA Fiesta Conference CupJames Velasco- Remal ElectricRemal Team (representing Remal Electric and Remal Telecom) wasthe first runner-up of the 9 th United Filipino Sports Association(UFSA) Fiesta Conference Cup held at SADIP Villa 2nd IndustrialCity in Dammam which took place on December 26 th , 2008. Remalteam forcefully fought during the Championship match against theSIDCO team. Remal defeated the other 5 out of 7 teams who joinedthe tournament. Apart from winning second place, Remal won theBest in Uniform category during the opening ceremony.Remal Team was headed by Edgardo Armada as Team Coach andJerome dela Cruz as Team Manager. Team players included AlvinNasayao as Team Captain, Jimmy Atendido who bagged the MythicalTeam selection, James Velasco, Jun Camia, Freddie Celestial,Norman Velasco, Cyril Gerale, Jaylee Regulacion, Robert GantuancoJr., Ramon Sario, Jayson Nitura, Sonny Cardosa, Willie Aradanasand Arnold Baculo. The team was assisted by Roy Nasrallah and JoelGalinato of Remal Telecom.We wish Remal Team better luck next year!Best in Uniform won byRemal Team during theopening ceremony of thetournament.1st Runner up Trophy forthe Inter Company B Divisionwas awarded to RemalTeam.the University of the City of Manila.
