He stood out for his contribution to the knowledge <strong>of</strong>hansenology.Alexandre Mello FilhoA graduate <strong>of</strong> the Paulista School <strong>of</strong> Medicine, he entered the dermatological clinic <strong>of</strong>the Municipal Civil Servant’s Hospital in 1948. He was a pr<strong>of</strong>essor at the Medical SciencesUniversity <strong>of</strong> the Holy House <strong>of</strong> Mercy for twenty years.80
