He stood out for his contribution to the knowledge ofhansenology.Alexandre Mello FilhoA graduate of the Paulista School of Medicine, he entered the dermatological clinic ofthe Municipal Civil Servant’s Hospital in 1948. He was a professor at the Medical SciencesUniversity of the Holy House of Mercy for twenty years.80
