Luis González de Bogaert is also apainter and sculptor, activities he shares with writing stories and essays. For her part,Martha Miniño is a writer and reporter, as well as an art critic.■ Dermatology and magic and magicVoodoo is very rooted in Dominican culture, and in their rituals the sorcerers or bocósprepare different infusions and baths for the spells or enviaciones, using potions and formulastransmitted by oral tradition from the times of the black predecessors 44 .
