Level 1 was themost heavily tested, as this pipeline is considered launch-critical.As a first step, it was necessary to validate the output with respectto the input; to do that, we ingested inside the instrumentawellknownsignalasdescribedinFrailis et al. (2009)withthepurpose of verifying whether the processing inside Level 1 wascorrect. This also had the benefit of providing an independenttest of important functionalities for the REBA software responsiblefor the onboard preprocessing of scientific data.
