I., The Plan of the Ages, a shorttime ago, which I read with a great deal more than ordinaryinterest. Though there are a few paragraphs I do not altogethercomprehend, yet as a whole, it has given me an entire newchannel of thought relative to the impenetrable future. Icarefully compared all your Bible references, and became sofavorably impressed with your version of Scripture and sohungry for more of the same kind of spiritual food that I feel Imust have the second volume.
I have enlisted in the service of the Lord Jesus Christ for theremainder of my life; and it is my heart's desire to be even morefaithful to Him than I was to the stars and stripes during the darkdays of the rebellion.
