Hard! well, what of that?Didst fancy life one summer holiday,With lessons none to learn, and naught but play?Go--get thee to thy task! Conquer or die!It must be learned; learn it then, patiently.--Sel.====================R1123 : page 3CALAMITIES--WHY PERMITTED."EXCEPT YE REPENT,YE SHALL ALL LIKEWISE PERISH.""There were present at that season some who told him of theGalilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that theseGalilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because theysuffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, yeshall all likewise perish."Or, those eighteen, upon whom the tower of Siloam fell, andslew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men thatdwelt in Jerusalem?
