General Characteristics of the Respondents702 respondents participated in the survey. 28 datasets were deleted from the datasetbecause the respondents indicated that they were no students or former students andthe study focuses on academic usage of ISNS. The remaining N=674 datasets wereanalyzed. There were 67.5% female and 32.5% male respondents. This reflects verywell the overall gender distribution of students in <strong>Salzburg</strong>. At the University of<strong>Salzburg</strong>, which accounts by far for the largest amount of students in <strong>Salzburg</strong>, therewere 63.3% female and 36.7% male students in 2006 21 .Figure 3.
