Selco T-LineThe Selco T-line offers a complete range of system components for generator control,protection and power monitoring.The units are for DIN rail mounting or screw mounting in switchboards. Since theunits are working on identical principles and have similar design and adjustmentschemes, they are easily installed or replaced. All units are available in a numberof versions varying in supply voltage and other functions, hence meeting specificcustomer requirements to a large extend.Synchronizing andload/power controlThe SELCO T-Line range includes various Auto Synchronizers and Load Sharers forload/power control. The Auto Synchronizers perform automatic synchronization ofincoming generators in a minimum of time. The Load Sharers provide automatic loadsharing and system frequency control for generators running in parallel.Two solutions are available: One for synchronizing and load sharing on generatorswith conventional governors (and electronic speed controllers via an intermediatemotorized potentiometer). The other for connection directly to all types of electronicspeed controllers. The T2100 Excitation Loss Relay measures -I x Sin Φ,representing the reactive power in negative direction, and it will trip when exceeding the levelrepresented by the red vertical line.The T2500 Overcurrent and Short Circuit Relay measures the magnitude of the current and thusprotects against current levels outside the area of the red circle.T2300 3 Phase Short CircuitRelayThe T2300 is intended for protectionof generators, power transmissionsand consumer supply against damagecaused from short circuit by tripping thecircuit breaker.The relay detects the highest of the 3input currents and, when the presetvalue is exceeded, an output relay willbe activated instantly (100 msec.) or aftera preset time delay.T2400 3 Phase DualOvercurrent RelayThe T2400 furnishes 2 combined overcurrentrelays, intended for protection ormonitoring of generators, power transmissionsand consumer supply.A typical generatorapplication is to letone of the overcurrent functions trip thegenerator breaker and to let the otherovercurrent function trip a nonessentialservice. Both overcurrent functions couldbe used to trip 2 levels of nonessentialloads. (Widely used in marine applikations)The T2600 determines load dependingstart and stop levels of a standby dieselgenerator. When load increases on therunning diesel generators more than e.g.90%, adjustable, for a preset time, a startsignal to call for the standby diesel generatorwill be provided. If the load decreasesbelow e.g. 45%, adjustable, for apreset time, a stop signal will be providedto stop the standby diesel generator.The T2600 can serve an installation withup to 3 diesel generators. The relaycontinuously monitors two systems galvanicallyseparated from each other, e.g.the busbar and the lighting system ortwo busbar systems.The unit features two output relays foralarm purposes and two analog outputsfor instrument readings.T3500 Frequency DeviationRelayThe T2800 has a broad application as anearth fault or a single phase overcurrentdetection relay. It has a wide setting rangefor protection, control or monitoring.The relay detects the magnitude of thecurrent and, when the preset value isexceeded, an output relay will beactivated after a preset time delay.T2900 3 Phase DifferentialCurrent RelayThe T3100 and T3300 are intended for effectivevoltage monitoring on generators,busbars or other distribution systems. Therelays contain the functions “under voltage”and “over voltage”, time delayed,and 2 individual output relays, one foreach function.T3100 is for monitoring on one phaseand T3300 is for 3 phase monitoring.T8400 Blackout LimiterRate of change of frequency (ROCOF)relay, df/dt relay. If a blackout occurs, the firstgenerator to have more than 90 %voltage will make the generator breakerclose. It is possible to monitor up to 4generators with 1 unit, and up to 8 generatorswith 2 units.
