12 Getting Started Chapter 1Touch the Print button to generate a hard copy of the Newest Report if an optional printeris connected to your <strong>OptiMelt</strong>. Supported printers featuring graphics capabilities includeMelt Graphs in all hard copies of Reports.Touch the Graph button to review the Melt Graphs associated to the Newest Report.Each Report includes all automated (camera) and manual (visual) results collectedthroughout the analysis. It also lists all relevant setup and calibration informationrequired for proper documentation and certification of the analysis results. Two separatetables summarize the automated and visual results. The melting point range of thesamples is defined as the temperature interval bracketed by the Onset and Clear pointslisted in the automated results. No automated results are displayed for sample slots thatdo not contain capillaries or for samples that do not melt during the analysis.13. Prepare for the next melt<strong>OptiMelt</strong> automatically cools down to the Start temperature at the end of a melt inpreparation for the next melting point determination.Important!Samples cannot be remelted! Always start a new determination with fresh capillaries.14. Turn Oven OffThe <strong>OptiMelt</strong> <strong>System</strong> was designed with Safety as a top priority.The oven can only remain at Start temperature for a time interval equal to the Timeoutprogrammed in the Options menu.
