The course takes studentsfrom the start of a project through to the end. Starting off by bringing in points and from there they aretaken through a design where they build an existing surface then design a road. Once the road isdesigned they will produce cross sections and volumes. Finishing off the training will be pipe designand some basic grading. Topics include: Points, Surfaces, Parcels, Alignments, Profiles, Assemblies,Corridors, Pipes and Grading.Prerequisite: Anyone that’s enthusiastic about learning Civil 3D.AutoCAD Civil 3D 2013 – Grading with Civil 3DThis 1 day class covers the grading features of Civil 3D.Students will use the grading features to createitems such as Lagoons, Parking Lots, Retaining Walls, Multi Level Lots. Topics include: FeatureLines, Grading Objects, Edit Feature Line Elevations, Edit Feature Line Geometry, Surfaces, Infills,and TransitionsPrerequisite: Intro to Civil 3D or relevant experienceAutoCAD Civil 3D 2013 – Styles Creation in Civil 3DThis 1 day class is designed to get users familiar with the different types of styles in Civil 3D. Thereare 3 types of styles in Civil 3D Object, Label and Table styles. Each type is covered in-depth so userwill feel confident in the ability to create and edit the different styles. Topics include: Object Styles,Label Styles, Table Styles and Drawing Settings. Prerequisite: Familiarity of Civil 3D.
