Alex IV (ex-Flandre). IMO 7039115. Fishing ship. Length 38 m. Greek flag.<br />
Unknown classification society. Built in 1970 in Dieppe (France) by les<br />
Ateliers and Chantiers de la Manche. The Flandre was quite innovating at<br />
the time of her construction. In 1977 she was honored by the visit onboard of the PM at the time<br />
Raymond Barre. Her owner under the French flag was the Association Rochelaise de Pêche à Vapeur,<br />
from La Rochelle. The ship was sold to a Greek society in 1984 and renamed Alex IV. Owned by<br />
Macedonian Fight Fishing <strong>Ship</strong>ping Co (Greece). Sold for demolition in Turkey.<br />

Guard Valiant (ex-M Valiant, ex-Cam Valiant, ex-Striltreff, ex-Manon, ex-<br />
Berg Karl, ex-Thorgaut). IMO 5041968. Fishing ship converted to standby<br />
safety vessel. Length 47 m. Norwegian flag. Unknown classification<br />
society. Built in 1939 in Sandefjord (Norway) by Framnaes. Owned by Tananger Offshore (Norway).<br />
Sold for demolition in Grenaa (Denmark) by Fornaes <strong>Ship</strong><strong>breaking</strong>. The Danish yard was founded in<br />
1993 and has, since then, scrapped over 1000 ships. Major part of them has been fishing vessels of<br />
various sizes, but also freighters, supply vessels, ferries and a military vessel. They mostly came from<br />
Scandinavia, United Kingdom, Germany and The Netherlands. See the chapter THE END, p 37-38, to<br />

Oskar (ex-Votaberg, ex-Oskar Halldorsson). IMO 6416768. Fishing ship.<br />
Length 40 m, 500 t. Icelandic flag. Unknown classification society. Built in<br />
1964 in Zandam (The Netherlands) by De Beer. Icelandic owned.. Sold for<br />
demolition in Ghent (Belgium) by Van Heygen Recycling.<br />
