Empowerment & HealthVocational Education& TrainingVocational Training Centre in 3 villages in Anjar in partnershipwith Gujarat Government under “ Mission Mangalam” scheme.Objective:vocational training to rural womenProcess:One Month training on cutting and stitching by <strong>Welspun</strong>Result:• 250 women are trained under this scheme. All women are engaged inproduction work.• Enhanced self esteem• Increased confidence• Increased per family economic standardApproximately 700 women will be covered from these villages andthe same project will be replicated in other potential villagesalong with Gujarat Government.

Health Care at Dahej<strong>Welspun</strong> organized a free Health Camp at JolwaPrimary School, Jolwa.The Camp was inaugurated by Mr. Sulemanbhai,Sarpanch ,Jolwa village, Mr. Ghanshyambhai,sarpanch of Vadadala village along with other<strong>Welspun</strong> volunteers and participants presenton the occasion.The camp was first of its kind in the locality inwhich Doctors from leading hospital BHARUCHGLOBAL HOSPITAL, BHARUCH volunteered tooffer their medical expertise and service.The event was welcomed by the localvillagers. Around 170 Adults, Mother &Child from village were screened anddiagnosed for various health ailments.
Health – in collaboration with NGO’sSalaam Bombay Foundation• Initiated anti tobacco program in Murud school.• To impart information and create awareness aboutthe ill effects of tobacco to the participants throughactive teacher participation.• Reach out:33 Schools, 53 Teachers, 7 Cluster coordinators,5 block authorities
