New Generation NZ Cultivatorsfrom VäderstadThe new NZ cultivators have been specifically designed to cope with today’shigh performance and tillage requirements. Unique design features have transformedthe NZ-Aggressive model into a cultivation processor with superiordesign technology. Tested in real farming situations, this has led to theconstruction of a new generation of cultivators more than capable of meetingfarmers’ expectations. With the new NZ-Aggressive you drive less and achieve more.• Strong frame in 60x60 mm square profile, over 81% moretorque resistant than previous NZ cultivators• Potential to complement with a rear Crossboard• Agrilla-Cobra tines, higher clearance, better capacityand stronger• Powerful Crossboard levelling board• Larger wheels with more than 45% increasedcarrying capacity on larger models• Stronger and responsive following harrowwith suspension• Heavier and robust construction

NZ-Aggressive500STNZ-Aggressive 500STNZA-ST models have manual depth adjusters and singlewheel on the outer wing sections and are equipped withfront Crossboard as standard.NZA-ST have the same excellent abilities as the largerNZA cultivators with 7,5 cm tine spacing, automaticopening/locking of the wing sections, robust frame in60x60 mm profile and exceptionally good capacity withAgrilla-Cobra tines.Narrow transport widthNZA 500 have a narrow transport width of only 3 m. Thewing sections tilt inwards when folded to allow transportin narrow lanes, etc.FlexibleNZA models are very easy to manoeuvre and are veryresponsive. The horizontal alignment function alwaysholds the cultivator parallel during operation andduring lifting/lowering.

Powerful Crossboard levelling boardThe front Crossboard levelling board levels and shifts largeamounts of soil, while the optional rear Crossboard iscontrolled in parallel with the front Crossboard and its workingintensity can be pre-set with a crank handle on the telescopicalignment bar.Large wheelsThe new large 10.0/75x12 wheels are standard in NZ cultivatorsfrom 7 m and upward, and increase carrying capacity by45% compared to the previous standard wheel. The standard200x14.5” wheels remain on the NZA 500 and 600.Agrilla-Nova 45x9,5 mmAgrilla-Cobra 45x10 mm5 cmThe Agrilla-Cobra tine,Strong and intensely vibratingAn extra 5 cm in length and its manufacture from specialhardened steel in dimensions 10x45 mm make the Agrilla-Cobra tine strong and very durable, and give it unique depthholdingability. Increasing the free play clearance and distributingthe tines over 5 rows improves penetration and burialof chopped trash.Double Crossboard NZA-600 - 1000The rear Crossboard is optional for NZA-600 – 1000 and isretrofitable. The Crossboard is bolted onto the framebetween the last row of tines and the following harrow. Use ofdouble Crossboard is recommended on heavier soils whereextra levelling can be beneficial.

SettingThe individual relationship between the Crossboard axlescan easily be adjusted with a crank handle. The Crossboardaxles are controlled in parallel by hydraulic controls in the cab.Track eradicatorsThe track eradicators loosen up the wheel tracks of thetractor effectively and can be adjusted individually to thedesired depth.

60 mm75mm tine spacingNZ-Aggressive has a 75mm tine spacing distributed over 5rows for a thorough and penetrating cultivation of theseedbed. The long cultivator frame, extreme free playclearance of the tines and the 75mm tine spacing meanseven very light soils with trash on the surface can be cultivatedwithout any problems.60x60 mm profileAll NZ-Aggressive models are produced in 60x60 mmprofile which is 81% more torsionally rigid than 50x50 mmprofile. The torsional rigidity is very important for thequality, durability and longevity of the machine.High clearanceThe Agrilla-Cobra tines have a very high free play clearancethanks to the perpendicular tine position. The highclearance is invaluable for deep cultivation, e.g. for potatoplanting, heavy autumn cultivation or seedbed preparationwith a lot of trash on the surface.Narrow transportThe outer wings tilt inwards when folded to allow transportin narrow lanes etc.QuickchangesystemTo further enhance the tillingand crushing effect of theCrossboard levelling board, itcan be equipped with sharpblades of toughened steel, called Single-Knife. Theseblades can be easily adjustedin different positions for therequired degree of cultivation. The blades attack ahardened and capped soiland rip out material for thecultivator tines to work on.

The roller is recommended forsmall seed and sugar beet growers. In the autumn when soilis often rough and damp, the Crosskill roller plays an valuablerole behind the cultivator. The roller works in thecoarse soil and crushes, grinds and mills the otherwiseunworkable clay. The roller must be seen in action to get atrue picture of its abilities. The roller carries out its taskwithout any great power requirement. The roller/cultivatorcombination is surprisingly easy to manoeuvre duringturning and transport.Dealer:990303-ENVV Mjölby Tryckeri AB/Desktopteknik AB - 2006.06Väderstad-Verken AB reserve the right to make changes to specifications and design.
