It shall blend andpromote the cultural and traditional values manifested in the Bhutanesearchitecture.Primary functions of the MinistryFollowing the vision statement, the primary functions of the Ministry will be to:• Formulate policies and develop plans related to physical infrastructures in thecountry;• Develop and implement Acts/regulations/standards related to physicalinfrastructure;• Engage in and coordinate capacity building of technical human resources inthe country;• Set policies to promote appropriate construction industry;• Promote research and development that would serve to maintain a synergybetween technology, environment and traditional values; and• Develop plans and policies for proper human settlement through growthcenters.Sectors under the MinistryThe Departments/Authorities/Corporations under the Ministry are:1.
