Maylands WaterlandBooking Application FormPaymentBookings – booking hire fee, Equipment & catering is payable 7 days prior to the booking date.All entry fees and additional hire fees are payable on the day of your booking.Additional hire fees may be applicable for excess cleaning, breakages or damage to council equipment or property.Entry to groundsEntry to the facility is strictly between 10:00am and 4:30pm. The bottom gate will only be opened subject to staff availability.Notice of CancellationNo refund of deposit is allowed on a cancellation with less than 14 days written notice to the Aquatic Manager.Hirer’s ResponsibilitiesAt the end of the booking, the hirers must remove all rubbish and leave their area in a clean and tidy state. The hirer must at alltimes co-operate with the appointed Duty Manager and ensure that the booking is conducted in an orderly manner with a minimumof inconvenience to other patrons.Applications for HireAll applications for hiring the water playground must be lodged in writing on the form provided, confirmation of the booking isprovided in writing.All groups must observe the following rulesGeneral Pool Rules – No running, jumping, diving or bombies; No food on pool deck; Swimmers must stay out of reserved areas;Children under 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times.Supervision & RatiosGroup bookings are required to bring one adult for every 10 children. It is requirement that one adult supervises a maximum of 10children at all times. Lifeguards on duty will be at a ratio of 1 lifeguard for up to 100 swimmers as per the Royal Life SavingSociety Standards Australia “Guidelines for safe pool operation”.Conditions of EntryAll patrons using the facility must adhere to the conditions of entry. This can be found on the wall near the front entrance.Children SupervisionIn the interest of water safety, all children under 6 are within arms length while in this centre by a guardian over 16.Parents must also ensure children under the age of 13 are supervised at all times and can be clearly seen at all times while in thiscentre.Pool EtiquettePatrons are required to be aware of programs conducted by the centre and hire groups. Deliberate interference of any program’s orbooked space may result in your removal from the centre.Clothing RestrictionsPatrons are required to wear appropriate clothing, as well as appropriate swim wear as deemed appropriate by the Centre ManagerNappiesAll Babies, young children and special needs patrons whom are not toilet trained must wear disposable aqua nappies at all timeswhile in the pool. Disposable aqua nappies are available at the kiosk for $2.00 eachGeneral HygieneThe Centre Manager or Duty Manager reserves the right to refuse entry into the centre to patrons who are suffering from skininfections of other communicable disease or who is in an unclean condition.Request to Leave the CentreYou may be required by the Centre Manager, Aquatic Manager or the Assistant Manger to leave the centre at any time seen fit.Smoking and AlcoholThe centre is a non-smoking venue. Alcohol is strictly prohibited within the centre.
