Using a flat-tip screwdriver, push in on the lockingtab and remove the roof rack cover. Remove the rubber moldings from the front andrear roof rack crossbars. Retain the rubbermoldings to be reinstalled if the ski attachmentsare removed.RUBBERMOLDINGINSTALLATIONNOTE:• The ski attachments are designed to be usedexclusively with a Acura roof rack, which is soldseparately. 3. Slide two T-bolts into each crossbar.ROOF RACKCROSS BAR6. Position two spacers and one ski attachment ontothe T-bolts, and install two knobs. Tighten theknobs securely.SKI ATTACHMENTT-BOLTSKNOBS2 SPACERS2D24110M4. Reinstall the roof rack covers.5. Insert the key, and turn it clockwise to unlock thefront ski attachment. Press the button and openthe top frame completely.TOP FRAMETurn the key clockwise tounlock the top frame.BUTTONKEYT- BOLTS2D24120M7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 to install the other skiattachment to the rear crossbar.8. Close the top frame, and listen for it to click intoposition, then turn the key counterclockwise tolock the top frame. Repeat for the otherattachment.9. Rock the ski attachments in all directions to makesure it is installed securely. If necessary, retightenthe T-bolts, or reinstall the ski attachments.10. Tell the customer to write down the key numberand to put the number in a safe place in case thekey is lost or stolen.11. Loading Skis on the Attachment12. Insert the key, and turn it clockwise to unlock thetop frame. Push the button and raise the top framecompletely.14. Close the top frame and listen for it to click intoposition. 15. Lock the top frame by turning the keycounterclockwise. Remove the key.SKI ATTACHMENTSKISKEY(Lock.)2D24060M16.
