Using toolbarsThe toolbars display buttons that are useful for performing the most common tasks.When you position the pointer over a button, its name appears on a ToolTip. The statusbar displays additional information about the command.You can add and remove buttons from toolbars and create custom toolbars. For moreinformation about customizing menus and toolbars, see “Customizing the menusystem” and “Customizing toolbars” in the Help.Corel Paint Shop Pro contains the following toolbars:• Standard — appears by default and displays the most common commands, such assaving images, undoing a command, and cutting items• Tools — contains tools for painting, drawing, cropping, typing text, andperforming other image-editing tasks• Effects — displays commands for applying effects to your images• Photo — displays commands for enhancing photos• Script — displays commands for creating and running scripts• Web — displays commands for creating and saving images for the WebFor information about the menu bar and the status bar, see “Exploring the workspace”on page 15.To display or hide a toolbar• Choose View Toolbars, and choose the toolbar that you want to display.You can also display a toolbar by right-clicking any toolbar or palette, choosingToolbars, and choosing the toolbar.To hide a specific toolbar, click the Close button on its title bar.Using toolsYou can use the Corel Paint Shop Pro tools to paint, draw, crop images, add text, andperform other image editing and creative tasks. Some tools, such as the Crop, Move, andText tools, reside in their own space on the Tools toolbar. Most tools, however, aregrouped with other tools that perform similar tasks.
