DISCONNECT VACUUM SENSING HOSE FROM FUELPRESSURE REGULATOR2. DISCONNECT FUEL RETURN HOSE FROM FUELPRESSURE REGULATORHINT:• Put a suitable container or shop towel under the pres–sure regulator.• Slowly loosen the union bolt.3. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR(a) Remove the two bolts, and pull out the pressureregulator.(b) Remove the O–ring from the pressure regulator.

INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR(a) Apply a light coat of gasoline to a new O–ring, andinstall it to the pressure regulator.(b) Install the pressure regulator with the two bolts.Torque: 9.3 N–m (95 kgf–cm, 82 in.–lbf)2. CONNECT FUEL RETURN HOSE TO FUEL PRESSUREREGULATOR3. CONNECT VACUUM SENSING HOSE TO FUELPRESSURE REGULATOR4. CHECK FOR FUEL LEAKAGE (See page FI–10)
