Seventy-twopercent of the region’s residents reside <strong>in</strong> El Dorado, Nevada, and Placer counties.The most prom<strong>in</strong>ent feature is Lake Tahoe and the surround<strong>in</strong>g summer andw<strong>in</strong>ter resorts.
