Method 2: The Flash Disk Management Utility6 When prompted to enter an IP address, it isrecommended that you use the address that iscurrently configured as the default gateway on yourmanagement station. Click OK.7 Choose the COM port that is open on the managementstation. Click OK.This completes the Flash Disk Management utility.8 Power-cycle the <strong>Firebox</strong> and wait until the operationhas been completed.The <strong>Firebox</strong> light sequence should look like this:Armed light: SteadySys B light: Steady (Some <strong>Firebox</strong>es may flicker but most will besteady.)(Do not be concerned with the lights on the Security TriangleDisplay indicating traffic between interfaces.)9 Open a DOS prompt and ping the IP address that youused for the temporary IP.Replies should follow, which means the <strong>Firebox</strong> is now ready foruploading a configuration.10 In Policy Manager, select File => Open =>Configuration File. Select the configuration file youwant to load onto the <strong>Firebox</strong> and load it into PolicyManager.11 In Policy Manager, select File => Save => To <strong>Firebox</strong>.You are then prompted for the IP address of the<strong>Firebox</strong> and the <strong>Firebox</strong> configuration passphrase. Usethe address you used as the temporary IP addressduring the flash disk management process and wg asthe passphrase.12 When the <strong>Firebox</strong> Flash Disk dialog box appears, clickthe button marked Save Configuration File and NewFlash Image.After the configuration has been uploaded and the <strong>Firebox</strong>has been rebooted, the <strong>Firebox</strong> light sequence should nowlook like this:Armed light: SteadySys A light: Steady<strong>User</strong> <strong>Guide</strong> 275
