There areseparate procedures for configuring a PPP connection onthe Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP platforms.Preparing a Windows NT managementstation for OOBInstall the Microsoft Remote Access Server (RAS) on themanagement station.1 Attach a modem to your computer according to themanufacturer’s instructions.2 From the Windows NT Desktop, select Start =>Settings => Control Panel.3 Double-click Network.4 Click Add.The Select Network Service dialog box appears.5 Click Remote Access Server. Click OK.Follow the rest of the prompts to complete the installation.
