(Are you studying?)• To the right of Yes/No questions, write Affirmativeanswers and Negative answers. Elicit the affirmativeand negative answers to Are you studying? (Yes,I am; No, I’m not.) Write the answers under theappropriate heading.• Next, write the heading Information question andunderneath write What/you/do? Elicit how to forma present continuous information question. (Whatare you doing?)• Have students look at the grammar chart. Readthe Yes/No questions aloud and have studentssay them after you. Then read these questionsagain and have students read the affirmative andnegative short answers aloud.
