Heis doing it now, right at this very moment. The verb isin the present continuous.• Draw separate boxes around is, the main verb(write), and -ing. Above it, write Present Continuous.• Have students look at the grammar chart. Readthe affirmative statements aloud as studentssay them after you. Then read the affirmativestatements again and have the class read thenegative statements.• Point out the spelling information at the bottom ofthe chart.
