Grayham Bickley said that in the past debrief of Hill & Classic occurred prior
to the volunteers BBQ, this allowed all those involved to have a say.
Grayham also said that having a pause from donations is also a good idea.
Garry bates said that maybe our focus for donation should be narrower than it
has in the past, for example a local person was taking part in the Endeavour
Rally last year, maybe we could have supported him.
Merchandise: Currently have nothing much in stock, Need shirts. Adam
provided some samples in two styles. They were well received by those
present.
Concessional Registration – Jay Bowden asked about the process for
concessional registration, Bruce said that the membership secretary manages
this function and people should ensure that chassis number and engine numbers
match what is shown on registration papers.
Macleans Bridge at Lakeside.. Daryl Shaw told the group that he was coordinating
the event. There will be a regularity event on Saturday with the
show on Sunday. This is a major social event with something for everyone. It
is an opportunity to look for entries for our event and we need to support the
Triumph club if we want them to support our event. There will be
approximately 1500 cars we need to get there early by 8.30am. Details in
Classic Lines.
Raffles – Bruce said that Christina Rolton had suggested that we run raffles at
some of our social events, proceeds going towards the Christmas Function.
Alan said he was in favour of it at larger functions only such as Xmas in July &
Australia Day function.
Thank You to Paul & Michelle Holter for organising venue and making their
premises Autobarn Nambour available to meeting attendees.
The next meeting of the executive will be held at the Board Room Tewantin
Noosa Golf Club Tewantin , 18 th April 5.30 pm
