MEETING
held on 14 th March 2012 Nambour Autobarn – Meeting opened 6.15pm

PREVIOUS MEETING Minutes of the previous General Meeting 15 th June
2011 held at the club rooms of Auto Barn Nambour displayed on the front table
in meeting room.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT Bruce Chamberlain
Bruce stated that in consultation with the executive committee, he resigned
from the positions of Vice President and Editor and took on the role of
President. The executive committee supported this move. Vacancies now exist
for Vice President and Editor.
Some changes are under way for the Web site to make it better to navigate. The
home page header has been reduced for subsequent Menu penetration pages to
save page space and altered to show only the club logo.
Donations for the next six months will be put on hold due to the reduced profits
from the Classic and the Hill. There have been comments made in the past that
the club was becoming more like a service club than a car club. We are
currently consolidating some of our funds in a term deposit. Volunteers BBQ
went well, with quite a lot of food left over due to some people who said they
would attend not showing on the day. We have plans to use surplus later.
Secretary Report – Neil Cope
Neil said that we still have problems with emails due to people changing
internet provider. Could members advise the secretary or the membership
secretary when changes occur. It is planned to put a reminder in Classic Lines
as well.
