CromwellLinker and Utilities5.12.5 -PwidthThis option allows the specification of the width to which the listing is to be formatted, e.g. -P132will format the listing for a 132 column printer. The default is 80 columns.5.12.6 -SstoplistThe -S option should have as its argument the name of a file containing a list of symbols not to belisted in the cross-reference. Multiple stoplists may be supplied with multiple -S options.5.12.7 -XprefixThe -X option allows the exclusion of symbols from the listing, based on a prefix given as argumentto -X. For example if it was desired to exclude all symbols starting with the character sequence xyzthen the option -Xxyz would be used. If a digit appears in the character sequence then this will matchany digit in the symbol, e.g. -XX0 would exclude any symbols starting with the letter X followed bya digit.CREF will accept wildcard filenames and I/O redirection. Long command lines may be suppliedby invoking CREF with no arguments and typing the command line in response to the cref> prompt.A backslash at the end of the line will be interpreted to mean that more command lines follow.5.13 CromwellThe CROMWELL utility converts code and symbol files into different formats. The formats availableare shown in Table 5.6.The general form of the CROMWELL command is:CROMWELL options input_files -okey output_filewhere options can be any of the options shown in Table 5.7. Output_file (optional) is thename of the output file. The input_files are typically the HEX and SYM file. CROMWELLautomatically searches for the SDB files and reads those if they are found. The options are furtherdescribed in the following paragraphs.5.13.1 -PnameThe -P options takes a string which is the name of the processor used. CROMWELL may use this in thegeneration of the output format selected.110
