Overvoltage trip prevention when reducing speed: a function preventing overvoltage trip whenreducing speed or at stop by using the regeneration braking power. Power Braking : Adjusting the deceleration slope or accelerate again, when inverter’s DCvoltage rises above a certain level by the electric motor’s regeneration energy. It can be usedwhen short deceleration time without braking resistance is needed. However, be aware that thedeceleration time can get longer than the set one and when it’s used at a load that frequentlydecelerates, be cautious of damage caused by the motor’s over heating.CautionStall prevention and Power Braking only operate when decelerating, and PowerBraking has the precedence.
