IMPORTANT INFORMATION1. Eligibility :Before filling the Application Form, the candidate should ascertain whetherhe/she fulfils all the requirements and is eligible for admission to MD/MSCourse. The conditions of eligibility are mentioned in the notificationNo./376/1502/2002/55 dtd. 24-08-2012 by Govt. of Chhattisgarh.Candidate’s Responsibility: Candidates who appear in the test would doso at their own risk and responsibility so far as their eligibility is concerned.Hence, candidates are advised to ascertain their eligibility before applying.2. Examination City :The test will be conducted at Raipur only.Centers: (1) Ayush & Health Sciences University, Govt.Ayurvedic College Campus, Raipur (C.G.).(2) Govt. Ayurvedic College, G.E. Road, Raipur (C.G.).Date & Time of Exam:21 st October, 2012 Time 11.00 Am. to 01.00 Pm.3. Availability of Application Format:The Application Format for the test will be available on website www.cghealthuniv.com.4. Last date for submission of Application Form :Duly filled application form must be sent by registered post/speed post so as toreach C.G. Ayush and Health Sciences University Raipur or submitted inperson at C.G. Ayush and Health Sciences University, Raipur on or before05.00 PM on 09-10-2012. Please submit application form along with requiredDemand Draft and collect receipt. C.G. Ayush and Health Sciences UniversityRaipur shall not be responsible for any postal or other delay in receipt ofapplication form. Application forms received after due date and time will besummarily rejected.Every applicant will be allotted an application number at the time ofsubmission of the application form. The students should carefully record theapplication number which will be required for issuing duplicate admission card ifnecessary.5. In-Service candidates too shall have to submit their application forms asmentioned at S. No. 4 after getting it forwarded through proper channel.2

PRE – P.G. (AYURVEDIC) ENTRANCE EXAMINATION -20121. IMPORTANTINSTRUCTIONS AND RULES FOR CONDUCT OF TESTThe information given in the Application Form will be verified at thetime of counseling/admission from the original documents by thecounseling/admitting authority. If it is found later that a successfulapplicant has provided incorrect or false information or withheld somerelevant information while filling the Application Form, the applicant shall bedebarred from admission or her/his admission may be cancelled at any timeduring the course of his/her studies, by the head of theInstitution/Admitting Authority/ C.G. Government, as the case may bewithout giving him any notice.2. SCRUTINY/REJECTION OF APPLICATION FORMSOnly the application forms received in C.G. Ayush and Health SciencesUniversity, Raipur till the time mentioned on the last date of submission willbe scrutinized. Application forms will be scrutinized on the basis of theinformation filled in. After selection, the same will be verified by theconcerned authority at the time of counseling from the original documents.Any incomplete application in any form will be rejected.INFORMATION REGARDING ACCEPTANCE(i) Date and Time 12-10-2012/ 04.00 pm.(ii) The information of accepted/rejected application forms will be madeavailable on the website www.cghealthuniv.com of the C.G. Ayush andHealth Sciences University Raipur.3. TEST ADMIT CARD (TAC)The Test Admit Card (TAC) will be sent to the candidates by Speed Postby the University to the address mentioned in the application form. It is inthe interest of the candidate that the correct and full postal address shouldbe filled in the Application form.In case the TAC is not received by post, any applicant whoseapplication has not been rejected, can get a duplicate TAC issued by thecenter superintendent at any Centre of Examination between 10:00 and10:30 AM on the day of examination by giving his or her applicationnumber. No request will be entertained after 10:30 AM. Please note that acandidate will not be permitted to appear in the examination if he/she doesnot possess the TAC.3

4. MATERIALS TO BE CARRIED IN THE EXAMINATION HALL(i) Test Admit Card (TAC)(ii) Blue/Black ball point penNo other material such as cellular/mobile phones, calculators, logtables, stray papers etc. should be found in the possession of the candidatein the test hall, otherwise the candidate is liable to be registered underUnfair means (UFM) and may be refused the chance to appear in the test.5. UNFAIR MEANS (UFM)Candidates are advised not to bring mobile phones to the examinationcenter.If any candidate is found using unfair means during the examination,which includes cellular/mobile phones, calculators, log tables, stray papersetc., referring to a book/note book/loose sheets, talking, giving assistance orseeking/receiving help from any source, indulging in any malpractice ormisbehavior in any manner in the test hall, harassing or doing harm to othercandidates or invigilator or supervisory staff or if any action of the candidateis interpreted by the Observer/Centre Superintendent/ invigilator asamounting to adopting unfair means, a case will be registered under unfairmeans and shall be legally dealt with accordingly. The answer sheet of thecandidate booked under UFM shall not be valued and his/her candidatureshall be cancelled. Additionally, any case of use of unfair means on the partof the candidate may be handed over to the police. Criminal proceedingsshall be initiated against such candidates.6. NATURE OF TESTThe entrance test shall be of objective type questions only, where fouranswers/responses will be provided for each question, out of which only onewill be correct. The candidate is required to select correct answer and markthe corresponding option (A or B or C or D) on the OMR answer sheet usingBlue/Black ball point pen only.7. MARKS AND TIME ALLOTTED FOR QUESTION PAPERThe Question paper will contain 100 questions. Total duration of thetest will be of 2 hours, out of which the first fifteen minutes are allotted formaking the entries in the OMR answer sheet and inspecting the questionbooklet for any printing or other errors etc. The candidates must ensure thatthe question paper is complete with 100 questions.4

8. SYSTEM OF VALUATION(i) In objective type questions, one mark will be awarded for each correctanswer. No mark (zero mark) will be awarded for an incorrect response ormultiple marking or for an unanswered question. There shall be no negativemarking.(ii) Marking will be done through electronic means. There is no provision ofretotalling/revaluation or scrutiny.9. DEFECTIVE QUESTION, THEIR CANCELLATION AND AWARD OF MARKSIN LIEU OF CANCELLED QUESTIONSUniversity gets each question of the paper examined by a group ofsubject-experts along with the answer suggested by the paper-setter andmoderator. If any question is found defective by these experts, the questionmay be cancelled due to:-(i)(ii)(iii)(iv)Wrong structuring;More than one option being correct;None of the options being correct;Any printing error leading to a situation where more than one answermay be correct or none of the answers may be correct.The decision of the expert panel regarding the question and the correctanswer will be final.In lieu of the cancelled questions, every candidate may be awardedmarks in proportion to the marks obtained by him/her, irrespective of thefact whether the candidate has attempted such cancelled questions or not.For example if 2 questions out of total 100 questions are cancelled in aparticular question paper and if each correct answer carries 01 mark, thenafter evaluation it is found that the candidate has secured 90 marks fromthe remaining 98 questions considered for evaluation purpose, then his/hermarks for 100 question are computed as under.90 x 100 / (100-2) = 91.83Note: All calculations shall be up to two decimal places and will not berounded off.10. The Question will include all subjects of BAMS course. Many questions mayappear valid for more than one subject. Distribution will be decided by expertwill be final.11. DECLARATION OF RESULTSUniversity will prepare the merit list as per the admission rulesmentioned in notification of Government of Chhattisgarh. The results shallbe available on the website of the University www.cghealthuniv.com5

12. MARK SHEETUniversity will not send individual mark sheets to the candidates. Acandidate is required to download it from the website of the Universitywww.cghealthuniv.com using his/her Roll Number.13. DUPLICATE MARK SHEETThere is no provision for issue of duplicate mark sheet. A candidatecan obtain any number of copies as described in #13.14. CANCELLATION OF ADMISSIONIf it is found that a candidate has succeeded in obtaining admission onthe basis of false/incorrect information of withholding relevant facts, duringcounseling or at any time after admission, the admission so granted to thecandidate shall be cancelled without any notice, at any time even during thecourse of his/her studies, by the Head of the Institute/Admitting Authorityconcerned or Govt. of Chhattisgarh.15. The responsibility of C.G. Ayush and Health Sciences University, Raipur isconfined to the extent of conducting the Entrance Test, declaring the meritlist and forwarding it to the Director, Ayush The C.G. Ayush and HealthSciences University, Raipur shall be final authority for deciding all policiesregarding conduct of the Test. If any question relating to the interpretationof “Rules & Instructions” for the conduct of Pre P.G. (Ayurved) -2012 arises,it shall be referred to the Government of Chhattisgarh whose decision shallbe final and binding. The University reserves the right to amend anyrule/procedure for the conduct of the Entrance Test and any modification somade shall be binding.16. Any kind of correction in information submitted in the Application form forany reason is not allowed/ accepted after the examination results have beendeclared.17. JURISDICTIONIn case of any legal disputes, the jurisdiction shall be limited to thecity of Raipur only.6
