Title is the name of the book just like we have names. Each book has a title sowe know which book we are reading. Use the word Title instead of Name as youintroduce the stories that are read. All these books are about monsters but theyhave different titles so we can tell them apart. Let students know it isnot like the name “Arthur.” Talk about the author Dr. Seuss <strong>and</strong> show his pictureso they know he was a real person. Many students have his stories. Show titles<strong>and</strong> have students raise their h<strong>and</strong>s if they have that book. Tell the author ofbooks as students check out.Story: Use a Dr. Seuss or other author video.
