IV. Installation- Sealed Enclosures1. Sealed enclosures provide excellent performance with Titanium IISymetec Subwoofers. They are the simplest enclosures to design andbuild. We recommend you choose a sealed design if you have notbuilt subwoofer enclosures before. Remember to glue and screw alljoints, using enough glue to make sure all joints are air tight. Looselyfill the enclosure with fiberglass, poly-fill, or cotton damping material.Recommended Sealed EnclosuresTS124/ Recommended Driver Total InternalTS124DVCInternal Volume Displacement VolumeOptimum 0.82ft 3 /23.2L 0.14ft 3 /4.08L 0.96ft 3 /27.28LMinimum 0.35ft 3 /9.9L 0.14ft 3 /4.08L 0.49ft 3 /13.98LTS104/TS104DVCOptimum 0.65ft 3 /18.4L 0.08ft 3 /2.27L 0.73ft 3 /20.67LMinimum 0.3ft 3 /8.5L 0.08ft 3 /2.27L 0.38ft 3 /10.77LWidthDepthUltmateHeightInternal Volume(ft 3 )= (in Inches)Internal Width X Depth X Height1728Internal Volume(L)= (in Centimeters)Internal Width X Depth X Height10004Ultimate ® Sound

V. Installation- Ported Enclosures1. Ported enclosures use a tuned vent to get additional output at thetuning frequency. Smaller ports than recommended may cause noisefrom air turbulence. Flared ports will produce less turbulence andnoise. Remember to glue and screw all joints, using enough glue tomake sure all joints are air tight.2. Make sure there is at least 2” between the end of the port and theadjacent wall of the enclosure.Recommended Vented EnclosuresOptimum Volume TS124/TS124DVCVolume 1.78ft 3 / 50.41LDriver Displacement 0.14ft 3 / 4.0LPort Displacement0.03ft3/0.85LTotal Enclosure Volume 1.95ft3/ 55.2LPort Diameter3”/76mmPort Length7.8”/198mmTuning33HzF 335HzOptimum Volume TS104/TS104DVCVolume 1.2ft 3 / 33.98LDriver Displacement0.08ft 3 /2.27LPort Displacement0.05ft3/1.42LTotal Enclosure Volume 1.33ft3/ 37.67LPort Diameter3”/76mmPort Length11.7” / 297.2mmTuning33Hz34HzF 3WidthDepthUltimateHeightSee the supplied warranty card for service informationCall 888-909-9988 for technical assistance.5Ultimate ® Sound
