This module provides strongcryptography for Apache Web Server via the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL v2/v3) andTransport Layer Security (TLS v1) protocols by the help of the Open Source SSL/TLStoolkit OpenSSL.The VisiBroker Server provides mod_ssl which is now supported directly into theApache web server, and is based on OpenSSL version 0.9.6g.Modifying the Apache configuration file for mod_sslTo enable mod_ssl, you must modify the httpd.conf file located in: /var/domains//configurations//mos//conf by un-commenting the following line:LoadModule ssl_module /lib//mod_ssl.soChapter 8: Security for the Web components 77
