A portrait of the Swiss Centre forInternational Agriculture ZILVision, mission and objectives of ZILVisionZIL’s vision is to enhance the contribution of agricultural researchto sustainable development in order to achieve poverty alleviation,food security and environmentally sound management of naturalresources for the benefit of present and future generations.Organisation of ZIL1993 – 2007MissionZIL’s mission is to initiate, support, and coordinate collaborativeresearch by its members and partners that will enable resourcepoorfarmers in low-income countries to achieve sustainableimprovements of their livelihoods.
