The completeFastrax IT430 GPS module is packed into a tiny casingfor easy fitting into various handheld or other batterypowered devices. Fastrax IT430 features a miniatureform factor of only 9.6 x 9.6 x 1.85 mm, whichmakes it one of the smallest complete GPS modulesavailable on the market. With the included TCXO,RTC and SAW filter, the amount of required externalcomponents is reduced to a minimum.Battery life is criticalFastrax IT430 is especially well suitable for batteryoperated devices using 1.8 V internal power regulation.The low-power GPS module consumes only 56 mWat 1.8 V in full operation mode. With the SiRFAwaretechnology it consumes only 125uA in average (withROM 2.0 onwards). The small size and low power consumptioncombined with ultra-high sensitivity, allowseasy utilization in a variety of applications, including thesmallest battery-operated consumer devices.With its new innovative standby mode, Fastrax IT430activates itself autonomously from time to time in orderto maintain awareness of its location at all times.
