GLOBALNO PARTNERSTVO ZA PREVENCIJU ORUŽANIH SUKOBA NA ZAPADNOM BALKANUOd 2003. godine Globalno ima aktivne školske medijatore. Jedna od glavnih tema novembarske studijskepartnerstvo za prevenciju oružanih posete bila je primena zbirke Obrazovanje za mir – iskustva iz prakse.sukoba aktivno je na ZapadnomMaja VitasBalkanu. NDC Srbija bio je prvi regionalnisekretarijat, da bi tu ulogu 2010. godinepreuzeo NDC Crna Gora. Dva glavnaregionalna programa: Obrazovanje zamir i Dijalog i medijacija, realizuju se uokviru regionalne mreže i uključujubrojne aktere civilnog društva,nacionalnih i lokalnih vlasti i drugihrelevantnih organizacija i institucija, ali inastavnike i učenike iz regiona. Svi oviljudi zajedno rade na postizanju jednogcilja – izgradnji mirnog i bezbednogdruštva za sve.Studijska poseta Osnovnoj školi „Milija Nikčević” u Nikšiću- Iskustva iz prakseČlanice GPPAC na Zapadnom Balkanutradicionalno obeležavaju Međunarodnidan mira, 21. septembar, aktivnostimakoje se realizuju u školama i lokalnimzajednicama. Poslednjih nekoliko godinaove aktivnosti organizuju se u sklopukampanje čija se tema poklapa satemom regionalnog likovnog konkursaza učenike i učenice iz regiona. Brojneškole iz regiona koje su učestvovale uovogodišnjoj kampanji Ja lajkujem mir –mir je moj izbor u kojoj je posebanakcenat stavljen na prevenciju digitalnognasilja.Škole iz regiona obeležile suMeđunarodni dan mira aktivnostimarealizovanim u okviru redovne nastave ivannastavnih aktivnosti. Učenici,nastavnici i direktori na ovaj način su jošjednom pokazali kako se aktivnosti izoblasti obrazovanja za mir moguimplemetirati u okviru svakodnevnogživota škole.Škole koje sarađuju sa Nansen dijalogcentrima i GPPAC-om u regionugodinama doprinose integracijielemenata obrazovanja za mir pa je kaonova aktivnost organizovana studijskaposeta nastavnika iz Srbije OŠ „MilijaNikčević“ u Nikšiću koja već godinamaStudijska poseta nastavnika-medijatora iz Crne Gore i Srbije Osnovnojškoli „Milija Nikčević” u Nikšiću jedna je od najznačajnijih aktivnosti GPPACregionalnog programa „Obrazovne institucije implementiraju obrazovanje zamir” u <strong>2014</strong>. godini. Posetu su od 13. do 15. novembra <strong>2014</strong>. godine zajedničkiorganizovali NDC Crna Gora i NDC Srbija. Ova razmena bila je inspirativna zasve učesnike, okupila je stručnjake i praktičare iz oblasti obrazovanja za mir ipružila mogućnost za učenje iz različitih iskustava. Uspeh studijske posetezasnivao se na pažljivo osmišljenom programu, uz vešto iskombinovanateorijska i praktična iskustva primene sadržaja obrazovanja za mir.Škola „Milija Nikčević” odabrana je za školu domaćina zbog svoje dugogodišnjeposvećenosti obrazovanju za mir, a posebno zahvaljujući obukama vršnjačkihmedijatora koje se realizuju od 2010. godine. Škola ima aktivan školskimedijatorski tim i dobitnik je nagrade ACES-a za projekat „Za dobro svihgeneracija-živjela medijacija!”. Iskustva ove škole bila su dragocenanastavnicima-medijatorima iz Podgorice, Bara, Ulcinja, Novog Sada, Temerina,Bačkog Petrovca i Niša. Tokom prvog dana gosti su prisustvovali realizacijioglednog časa iz prirode i društva i času crnogorskog jezika u kojima su biliintegrisani elementi obrazovanja za mir. Pripreme za oba ogledna časa bile suzasnovane na pripremama objavljenim u zbirci „Obrazovanje za mir-dijalogomdo rešenja“, što pokazuje da se zbirka koristi kao kreativno nastavno sredstvo.Gosti su takođe predstavili svoje aktivnosti.(nastavak na strani broj 4)2


THE GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP FOR PREVENTION OF ARMED CONFLICT IN THE WESTERN BALKANSSince 2007 the Global Partnership for thePrevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC) has marked theInternational Day of Peace, 21 September by organisingnumerous activities. In the past years these activitieshave turned into a campaign that has a different topiceach year which is at the same time the topic of theRegional Arts Competition for students from the region.Numerous schools have participated in this year’scampaign I Like Peace – Peace Is My Choice by organisingpeace activities and submitting their students' artworksto the regional arts competition.Within GPPAC programme, schools that participate in theregional Peace Education Group marked this year’sInternational Day of Peace with activities implementedduring regular classes and extracurricular activities. Inthis way, students, teachers and principals once againshowed how activities from the field of peace educationcould be implemented within everyday school life.Schools which cooperate with Nansen Dialogue Centresand GPPAC in the region have been contributing to theintegration of peace education elements in the regularclasses for years. Numerous teachers andrepresentatives of ministries, as well as the civil societyhave contributed to the collection Education for Peace –Experiences from Practice that was published inSeptember. Regional programmes: Peace Education andDialogue and Mediation, implemented within thenetwork of the Global Partnership for the Prevention ofArmed Conflict in the Western Balkans, includednumerous actors from civil society, national and localauthorities and other relevant organisations andinstitutions, as well as teachers and students from theregion. All these people work together on achieving onegoal – to build a peaceful and safe society for all.Maja VitasA Study Visit to Milija Nikčević Primary School in Nikšić –Experiences from PracticeOne of the highlights of GPPAC regional programme"Educational Institutions Implement Education for Peace" in<strong>2014</strong> was a study visit of teacher-mediators from Montenegroand Serbia to "Milija Nikčević" primary school in Nikšić. Thevisit was taking place 13-15 November <strong>2014</strong> and was jointlyorganised by NDC Montenegro and NDC Serbia. It was aninspiring exchange for all participants as it brought togethereducational experts and practitioners and providedopportunity for mutual learning. The success of the study visitwas resulted from a carefully envisaged programme whichskilfully combined theoretical and practical experiences in theimplementation of education for peace contents.The hosting school was selected due to its long-termcommitment to education for peace and particularly to peermediation education which has been organised since 2010.The school has an operational school mediation team and hasbeen awared by ACES for its project "For the Welfare of AllGenerations-Long Live Mediation". The experiences of thisschool were precious to teacher-mediators coming fromPodgorica, Bar, Ulcinj, Novi Sad,Temerin, Bački Petrovac andNiš. During the first day the guests observed model classes: ascience class and Montenegrin language class in whicheducation for peace elements were integrated. Both classpreparations were based on those presented in thehandbook Education for Peace-Experiences from Practicewhich proves that the handbook is being used as creativeteaching tool. The guests too presented their activities. Thesecond day of the visit was dedicated to an expert panel onEducation for Peace as Part of the Teaching Process, with(continuation on page 5 )3


(nastavak sa strane 2) Drugi dan posete bio je posvećenokruglom stolu „Obrazovanje za mir kao dio nastavnogprocesa“ na kojem su govorili predstavnici ministarstavaprosvete Crne Gore i Srbije, Zavoda za školstvo Crne Gore,predstavnici lokalne samouprave, Saveta roditelja OŠ„Milija Nikčević“ i Nansen dijalog centara. Jedna odpreporuka okruglog stola bila je da sadržaji obrazovanja zamir treba da budu integrisani u programe svih obrazovnovaspitnihustanova, od predškolskih do fakulteta.Trećeg dana posete gosti su uživali u susretu i razgovorusa dve generacije vršnjačkih medijatora škole-domaćinakoji su predstavili prednosti i izazove vršnjačkogmedijatora, naglašavajući da su im obuke pomogle urazvijanju samopouzdanja i komunikacijskih veština. Usesiji „Moći, znati, razumjeti“, predstavnica Zavoda zaškolstvo Crne Gore istakla je važnost čitalačke pismenosti,razvijanja komunikacijskih veština i veština javnog govorau izgradnji kapaciteta mladih generacija. U završnom deluposete, kreativnost nastavnika-domaćina je još jednomdošla do izražaja prikazivanjem snimljenog časamatematike koji je realizovan po uzoru na pripremu za časiz priručnika „Obrazovanje za mir-dijalogom do rešenja“. Izaista, bio je to dobar primer iz prakse, a komentarinastavnice matematike i učenika koji su prisustvovali časupokazali su da je čas bio inovativan, interesantan i da susvi bili aktivni, čak i učenici koji ne vole matematiku.Dosadašnji rezultati škola koje integrišu obrazovanje za mirpokazuju da se klima u školi promenila nabolje, da su sepoboljšali odnosi između učenika i da su učenici i učenice višemotivisani da sukobe rešavaju na konstruktivan način. U tomsmislu potrebna je kontinuirana međusektorska saradnja i sviučesnici okruglog stola izrazili su spremnost da podržeintegrisanje obrazovanja za mir u nastavu u budućnosti.Studijska poseta je sa svim navedenim segmentima ispunilaglavne ciljeve: razmenu iskustava i osnaživanje saradnjeobrazovnih institucija iz dve zemlje. Iznad svega, ova posetamotivisala je praktičare da isprobaju nove metodologije inastavna sredstva i prihvate obrazovanje za mir kao deosvakodnevnog rada. Zahvalni smo GPPAC fondaciji, Zavodu zaškolstvo Crne Gore i školama iz Novog Sada, Bačkog Petrovcai Niša na podršci i prepoznavanju potrebe za stručnimusavršavanjem nastavnika.Dragana ŠarengaćaMeđuregionalna saradnja sa UNDP kancelarijom izUkrajineNa poziv kancelarije Programa za razvoj Ujedinjenih nacija uUkrajini, a u okviru projekta „Demokratizacija, ljudska prava irazvoj civilnog društva u Ukrajini” Ivana Gajović iz Nansendijalog centra Crna Gora održala је predavanje na seminaru:„Promocija dokumentovanja kršenja ljudskih prava,obezbijeđenje neophodne pravne pomoći i učešće uinicijativama za pomirenje / izgradnju povjerenja za oblastiLugansk i Donjeck“.Seminar je održan 25. i 26. septembra <strong>2014</strong>. godine u Kijevu(Ukrajina), a učesnici su bili aktivisti civilnog sektora izkonfliktom ugroženih oblasti Donjecka i Luganska. Civilnisektor u ovim oblastima postoji, ali mu je potrebnoosnaživanje u oblastima dokumentovanja kršenja ljudskihprava, procesima pomirenja i izgradnje povjerenja.Predavanje „Dijalog i izgradnja mira u procesu pomirenja uCrnoj Gori: primijenjene tehnike i iskustva”, koje je IvanaGajović održala, izazvalo je pažnju učesnika i pokrenulo jediskusiju. Učesnici seminara su tokom diskusije zaključili dasu komparativne analize zemalja i regiona korisne metode zaučenje i da ih je moguće primjeniti u njihovom kontekstu.Ivana Gajović4


(continuation from page 3) speakers from the ministries ofeducation in Montenegro and Serbia, Montenegrin Institutefor Education, representatives of local self-government,parents council of the hosting school and the NDCs.Integration of Education for Peace contents into alleducational institutions, starting from preschools touniversities, was highlighted as one of the recommendationsof the panel. Results of the schools implementing Educationfor Peace so far have indicated that the climate in school haschanged for the better, relations between pupils/studentshave improved and they are motivated to resolve conflicts in aconstructive way. In that respect, a continuous cross-sectoralcooperation is needed and all actors expressed theircommittment to support future integration of education forpeace in school curricula.The third day of the study visit was especially enjoyableas the guests had a meeting with two generations ofpeer mediators from the hosting school who sharedtheir impressions on advantages and challenges of apeer mediator, emphasizing that peer mediatoneducation was beneficial to the development of theirself-confidence and communication skills. In the sessionon "To be able, to know, to understand", arepresentative of the Institute for Education ofMontenegro highlighted the importance of literacy,communication and public speech skills to enhancecapacities of young generations. In the closure of the lastday, creativity of the hosting teachers was once againpresented in the session with recorded video aboutmaths class based on the class preparation from theEducation for Peace - Experiences from Practicehandbook. It was truly an example of a good practiceand in the words of the maths teacher and the pupilspresent at the session: "The class was innovative,interesting and engaging to all students, even those whodislike maths". The study visit with all its segments hasachieved the main goals: exchange of experiences andstrengthening cooperation between educational actorsin two states. Above all, it motivated the participants totest out the new methodologies and teaching tools andembrace education for peace as part of their daily work.We are thankful to the GPPAC Foundation, Institute forEducation of Montenegro and the schools from NoviSad, Bački Petrovac and Niš for their support andunderstanding of the need for teachers’ professionalexchange.Dragana ŠarengaćaCross-regional cooperation with UNDP in UkraineUpon invitation from the United Nations DevelopmentProgramme office in Ukraine and within project:"Democratisation, Human Rights and Development ofCivil Society in Ukraine", Ivana Gajović from NansenDialogue Centre Montenegro delivered a lecture at theseminar: "Promoting Documentation of Human RightsViolations, Provision of Necessary Legal Assistance andParticipation in Reconciliation / Trust-buildingInitiatives for the Luhansk and Donetsk regions“.The seminar was held on 25 and 26 September <strong>2014</strong> inKiev/Ukraine for civil society activists from the conflictaffectedregions of Donetsk and Luhansk.5The civil society in these regions is active, yet itneeds capacity building and empowerment fordocumenting human rights violation, reconciliationand trust-building.Ivana Gajović's lecture on: "Dialogue andPeacebuilding Contributing to Reconciliation inMontenegro: Techniques Applied” attracted theattention of the participants and initiateddiscussion. Saradnja Broda mira i Nansen dijalog centra Crna Gora - primjer međuregionalne saradnjeMeđunarodna nevladina organizacija Brod mira sa sjedištem u Japanu je posjetila Luku Kotor 20. aprila <strong>2014</strong>.godine, kao dio 104-dnevnog putovanja oko svijeta u cilju lokalne promocije i razmjene na teme mirovnog obrazovanjai prevencije konflikata.83. Globalno putovanje Broda mira je počelo u Japanu, 13. martaposjetama Singapuru, Šri Lanki, Jordanu i Grčkoj. Oko 900 putnika jeposjetilo Kotor u Crnoj Gori 20. aprila <strong>2014</strong>. godine. Program su činili:studijska i kulturna razmjena, razgledanje grada, radionice iz oblastiObrazovanja za mir, kao i sadržaji iz oblasti ekologije i ženskih prava.Ovo je prvi put da je Brod mira došao u Crnu Goru.Delegacija od osam Hibakuša (osoba koje su preživjele atomskubombu) iz Hirošime i Nagasakija učestvovala je u programu „Globalnoputovanje za slobodni svijet bez nuklearnog naoružanja: Brod miraHibakuša“, gdje su govorili o humanitarnim poslijedicama upotrebenuklearnog naoružanja na pres konferenciji.Ivana Gajović i Dragana Radoman iz Nansen dijalog centra CrnaGora održale su radionicu o Obrazovanju za mir grupi mladih mirovnihaktivista iz Izraela i Palestine. Oni su učestvovali u programuupravljanja konfliktima „Uklanjanje barijera” koji se realizuje nabrodu.Brod mira su osnovali studenti Univerziteta u Tokiju prije 30 godinakoji su imali viziju putovanja putovanja po regionima Azije i Pacifikakako bi učili o istoriji ratnog perioda od žrtava i preživjelih japanskeagresije.Od tada, Brod mira se razvijao i dobiokonsultativni status u Ekonomsko-socijalnomsavjetu Ujedinjenih nacija, uticajan je članjapanskog civilnog društva i dio je globalnogmirovnog pokreta. Cooperation of Peace Boat and Nansen Dialogue Centre Montenegro –anexample of cross-regional collaborationThe Japan-based international NGO Peace Boat visited the port of Kotor onApril 20, <strong>2014</strong> as part of a 104-day around-the-world voyage to promote grassrootsexchange, peace education and conflict prevention.Peace Boat's 83 rd Global Voyage departed from Japan on March 13 with visits to theports of Singapore, Sri Lanka, Jordan and Greece. Approximately 900 passengersvisited Kotor, Montenegro on April 20, <strong>2014</strong>. The programme consisted of a series ofstudy and cultural exchanges and sightseeing programmes, as well as workshops onissues of environmental protection and women's rights. This was the first time everfor Peace Boat to visit Montenegro.A delegation of 8 Hibakusha (atomic bomb survivors) from Hiroshima and Nagasakitook part in the "Global Voyage for a Nuclear-Free World: Peace Boat HibakushaProject" to reach out to the world about the humanitarian consequences of nuclearweapons by also speaking at a press conference.Ivana Gajović and Dragana Radoman from Nansen Dialogue Centre Montenegrofacilitated a workshop on Education for Peace to a group of young peacebuilders fromIsrael and Palestine. They took part in a conflict resolution programme “BreakingBarriers” onboard the ship.Peace Boat as one-of-a-kind nonprofitorganization was foundedover 30 years ago by universitystudents in Tokyo who had avision of travelling around theAsia Pacific region to learn aboutwar-time history from thevictims and survivors of Japaneseaggression. Since then, PeaceBoat has evolved into an NGOwith United Nations consultativestatus and is an influentialmember of Japanese civil societyand the global peace movement.It organizes 3 global voyages and1 regional voyage each year, andto date is responsible for havingcarried more than 40,000participants to over 100countries onboard a total of 83voyages.This visit was coordinated incoordination with local partner,the Nansen Dialogue CentreMontenegro. Peace Boat andthe Nansen Dialogue Centrehave had a close collaborationover many years, particularly inthe field of peace education, aspart of their membership of theGlobal Partnership for thePrevention of Armed Conflict(GPPAC). GPPAC is a globalnetwork of civil societyorganisations working inpeacebuilding and conflictprevention. Peace Boat acts asthe Northeast Asia RegionalSecretariat for GPPAC, while theNansen Dialogue Centre is theRegional Secretariat for theWestern Balkans.Ivana Gajović7


Školska medijacija – prevencija nasilja u multietničkim školama u Vojvodini –aktivnosti u <strong>2014</strong>.godiniProjekat Školska medijacija– prevencija nasilja umultietničkim školama u Vojvodini započet je u junu2013. godine, a Nansen dijalog centar Srbija,Građanski fond Panonija iz Novog Sada i ACCD izBeograda zajednički su realizovali ovaj projekat u ciljuizgradnje nastavničkih i učeničkih kapaciteta zaprevenciju nasilja.Partnerstvo i dobra saradnja svih aktera važnih uobrazovno-vaspitnom procesu obeležili su zajedničkirad. U projektu su učestvovali nastavnici, pedagozi,psiholozi, direktori škola i učenici iz šest osnovnih škola:O.Š. „Nikola Tesla“ i O.Š. „Petefi Šandor“ iz Novog Sada,O.Š. „Kokai Imre“ iz Temerina, O.Š. „Miloje Čiplić“ izNovog Bečeja, O.Š. „Jan Čajak“ iz Bačkog Petrovca i O.Š.„2. oktobar“ iz Nikolinaca. Paralelno sa obukama zanastavnike-medijatore, realizovane su obuke zaučenike-vršnjačke medijatore i tako su formirani školskimedijatorski timovi. Nastavnici-medijatori imali suzadatak da nakon svakog treninga naprave akcioni plan,realizuju radionice i aktivnosti sa učenicima i sakolegama i na taj način prenose usvojena znanja iveštine. Najvažnije aktivnosti NDC Srbija u <strong>2014</strong>. godinibile su praćenje primene naučenih veština i radamedijatorskih timova kroz konsultacije sa nastavnicima,kao i podrška nastavnicima u daljem razvijanjuprograma. Nastavnici i učenici su tokom realizacijeprojekta pokazali veliku motivaciju da uče i ulažu ukreiranje promena u svom radnom okruženju, ali i usvakodnevnom životu, u odnosima sa porodicom ivršnjacima. Posebno su istakli važnost različitihkompetencija koje su razvijali tokom obuka: usvajanje ipoboljšavanje komunikacijskih veština i primenu novihnačina rešavanja sukoba.Primenjujući medijaciju nastavnici su uspešno rešilirazličite slučajeve sukoba. Među njima izdvajamoprimer medijacije koji nam je poslala nastavnicamedijatorka.Radi se o vrsti sukoba koja se u poslednjevreme nažalost često dešava među učenicima. Grupadevojčica je u virtuelnom svetu javno prozivala i vređalasvoju drugaricu. Devojčicu, koja je bila žrtva digitalnognasilja, pokušala je da odbrani njena najbolja drugarica,ali je zatim i sama postala meta neslanih šala iprovokacija. Nakon održane sesije medijacije ipostignutih dogovora, učenice koje su bile u sukoburedovno su pomagale jedna drugoj tokom školskihaktivnosti. Na taj način se izgubljeno poverenje međudrugaricama postepeno vratilo, a njihovi narušeni odnosipopravili.Nastavnici-medijatori su istakli da se u ulozi medijatora osećajudobro i da zahvaljujući novim veštinama i znanjima jasnijepostavljaju ciljeve i bolje vladaju procesom vođenja rešavanjasukoba.Promenio se i način na koji nastavnici rešavaju situacije sukobau učionici - sa manje nervoze, a sa više odgovornosti pristupajuprocesu i osećaju da imaju moć i znanje da zajedno saučenicima nađu rešenja. Ranije je u rešavanju sukoba izmeđuučenika fokus najčešće bio samo na učenicima-sukobljenimstranama. Nakon obuke vršnjačkih medijatora, sukobi sesagledavaju iz različitih uglova i u proces rešavanja uključuju se iostali vršnjaci, nastavnici i roditelji. Utisak nastavnika je da sevršnjaci sada aktivnije bave sukobima, a u promovisanju školskemedijacije učestvuju i učenički parlamenti. Na taj način mrežavršnjačkih mirotvoraca počela je da se širi.NDC Srbija aktivno je podržala osnivanje školskih medijatorskihklubova u svih šest škola u junu <strong>2014</strong>. godine, uz saradnjudirektora škola i školskih medijatorskih timova. U školskoj<strong>2014</strong>/2015. godini školski medijatori nastavljaju svoj rad i trudese da još više promovišu i koriste tehnike školske medijacije.Činjenica da se veliki broj sukoba rešava medijacijompredstavlja za nas ohrabrenje da nastavimo s podrškomškolama u budućnosti.Tokom realizacije programa sarađivali smo sa Ministarstvomprosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja - Jedinicom za prevencijunasilja i Pokrajinskim sekretarijatom za obrazovanje čijainstitucionalna i stručna podrška nam je mnogo značila.Projekat je realizovan uz finansijsku podršku AmbasadeKraljevine Norveške u Beogradu.Dragana Šarengaća8


School Mediation – Prevention of Violence in Multiethnic Schools in Vojvodina – activities in <strong>2014</strong>Implementation of the project School Mediation –Prevention of Violence in Multiethnic Schools in Vojvodinastarted in June 2013 and continued during the second termof the school year 2013/<strong>2014</strong>. NDC Serbia, Civic FoundationPanonija from Novi Sad and ACCD from Belgrade jointlyimplemented the project with the aim to build teacher andstudent capacities for the prevention of violence.Partnership and good cooperation of all actors importantfor educational and upbringing processes marked the workon this project. Teachers, pedagogues, psychologists,school principals and students of six primary schools:"Nikola Tesla" and "Petefi Sandor" Primary Schools fromNovi Sad, "Kokai Imre" Primary School from Temerin,"Miloje Čiplić" Primary School from Novi Bečej, "Jan Čajak"Primary School from Bački Petrovac and “2. oktobar”Primary School from Nikolinci participated in the project.Along with the trainings held for teacher-mediators, thetrainings for peer mediators were held too and in such wayfuture school mediation teams were formed. Teachermediatorshad a task to create an Action Plan after each ofthe trainings and facilitate workshops and activities withstudents and colleagues in order to pass on the gainedknowledge and skills.The most important activities of NDC Serbia in <strong>2014</strong> wereto follow the implementation of the acquired skills, tofollow the work of mediators’ teams and provide support toteachers in further developing the programmes.During the project implementation, teachers and studentsshowed great motivation to learn and invest into bringingchanges at their work places, but also in their everyday life,in relations with family and peers. In particular, theyhighlighted the importance of competences they weredeveloping through the trainings: acquiring and enhancingcommunication skills and applying the new ways of conflictresolution. The teachers successfully resolved differentcases of conflicts through mediation.Among the cases, we present here a mediation case sent tous by a teacher-mediator. This type of a conflict isunfortunately quite common among students nowadays. Agroup of schoolgirls publicly picked on and insulted theirfriend on social networks. Best friend of the girl who was avictim of digital violence was trying to defend her howevershe herself also became a subject of their practical jokesand provocations. After the mediation session was held andagreements were made, the schoolgirls who were parties inconflicts started helping each other regularly in schoolactivities. In such way, the trust between friends has beenregained gradually and their broken relations have been reestablished.The teachers emphasized that they feel good in amediator’s role, they set their goals more clearly due to theacquired new skills and knowledge and facilitate a processof conflict resolution better. The way the teachers resolveconflicts in the classroom has changed too - they feel lessnervous and engage into the process with moreresponsibility and also feel that they have power andknowledge to find solutions together with students.Previously, in most of the cases, resolution of conflictsbetween students focused solely on the students-parties inconflict. After the peer mediation trainings, conflicts areanalysed from different perspectives and other students -peers, teachers and parents are now engaged in conflictresolution. Teachers’ impressions are that the peers havebeen more active in resolving conflicts and studentparliaments have promoted mediation since. In such way,the network of peers – peacebuilders has started growing.NDC Serbia actively supported opening of school mediator’sclubs in June <strong>2014</strong> in each of the six schools, with a greatsupport of the principals and school mediation teams. In the<strong>2014</strong>/2015 school year, school mediators have continuedtheir work and put even more efforts to promote and useschool mediation. The fact that a great number of conflictsis being resolved by school mediation is encouraging to usto continue supporting schools in future. We cooperatedwith the Unit for the Prevention of Violence of the Ministryof Education, Science and Technological Development andthe Provincial Secretariat for Education in theimplementation of the project and their institutional andprofessional support was valuable to us. Konferencija „Integrirano obrazovanje u multietničkim zajednicama“Sistem „dvije škole pod jednim krovom“ jestvarnost u mnogim dijelovima BiH. NDC Mostarradi za integraciju i objedinjavanje takvihpodijeljenih škola kroz dijalog. Svrha konferencije,održane u subotu, je promovirati nove i dobreprakse za integrirano obrazovanje u regiji, testvoriti sigurno okruženje za razne interesneskupine kako bi izrazili svoje mišljenje slobodno.Gospodin Elvir Đuliman, direktor NDC-a Mostar,izjavio je da je tema konferencije teška ikomplicirana, ali vrlo važna. GospodinHadžiomerović, ministar obrazovanjaHercegovačko-neretvanske županije, nastavio jegovoriti o administrativnim poteškoćama, posebicekako je odgovornost za obrazovanje podijeljenaizmeđu različitih političkih razina. On takođersmatra kako se rasprave o integriranomobrazovanja često svode na politiku i svakodnevnopolitičko argumentiranje. Gospođa Komadina,glavni savjetnik gradonačelnika Mostara, zahvalilaje NDC-u Mostar za organiziranje konferencije inaglasila potrebu skorog rješavanja izazova uškolskomsistemu.U svom govoru, veleposlanica Lilloe govorila je onorveškim aktivnostima u BiH. Ona je naglasila daje obrazovanje važan stup u svim društvima te da jeintegrirani i zajednički plan i program ključpomirenja i mirnog suživota. Dalje je navela kakomodel "dvije škole pod jednim krovom" nijekompatibilan sa stvaranjem održivog idemokratskog društva, te je pozdravila nedavnuodluku suda FBiH, koji je presudio da je ovaj sistemdiskriminirajući.Nakon uvodnih govora, profesor Steinar Bryn, izNansen centra za mir i dijalog u Lillehammeru,održao je predavanje na temu "Dijalog umultietničkom društvu". Gospodin Bryn je naglasioda integrirano obrazovanje u multikulturalnimdruštvima nije samo izazov u BiH, već u cijelojEuropi. S tim u vezi, gospodin Bryn spomenuo je daintegracijski izazovi postoje i u Oslu u školama svisokim postotkom useljenika i manjim brojemetničke norveške djece. Grupa koju čine predstavniciviše sektora će imati javne konsultacije i dijaloške sesije, sprovodićekampanje za podizanje svesti, kreiraće intersektoralna partnerstva ina osnovu međunarodne komparativne studije o navedenoj temi ćeformulisati i predložiti gradskoj skupštini Kluž-Napoka i Školskominspektoratu okruga Kluž dva predloga politika koje će doprinetiprevenciji i borbi protiv nasilja u školama u gradu Kluž-Napoka.Tokom projekta biće sprovedeno komparativno istraživanje o nasiljuu školama u Norveškoj, Srbiji i Rumuniji. Istraživanje će se bavitivrstama i uzrocima nasilja, kao i politikama koje se bave rešavanjemproblema nasilja u ove tri zemlje. Conference ˝Integrated education in multicultural society˝a challenge in BiH, but all over Europe. In relation tothat, Mr Bryn mentioned that integration challengesalso existed in Oslo, in some schools with a highpercentage of immigrants and few ethnic Norwegianchildren. He also stressed that now more than ever,it was important to promote dialogue andunderstanding among all children and parents,regardless of ethnic belonging. The NDC in Mostar works for integrating and unifying suchdivided schools through dialogue. The purpose of the conferenceon Saturday was to promote new and good practices forintegrated education in the region and to create a safeenvironment for various stakeholders to state their opinion freely.Mr Elvir Đuliman, Director of NDC Mostar, stated that the topic ofthe conference is difficult and complicated, yet very important. MrHadžiomerović, Minister of Education of Herzegovina-NeretvaCanton, continued by speaking about administrative difficulties,particularly that responsibility for education is divided betweendifferent political levels.He was also concerned that discussions on integrated educationoften boiled down to politics and everyday political arguments. MsKomadina, the Chief Advisor of the Mayor of Mostar, thanked theNDC for organizing the conference and stressed the need toaddress the challenges in the school system soon.In her speech, Ambassador Lilloe spoke about Norwegian activitiesin BiH. She emphasised that education was an important pillar inall societies and that an integrated and joint curricula are key inmoving towards reconciliation and peaceful coexistence. Shefurther stated that the model of “two schools under one roof” wasnot compatible with creating a sustainable and democratic society.She welcomed the recent FBiH court decision, which ruled that thissystem is discriminatory.Following the opening speeches, Professor Steinar Bryn from theNansen Centre for Peace and Dialogue in Lillehammer, gave alecture on Dialogue in a multi-ethnic society. Mr Bryn emphasisedthat integrated education in multicultural societies was not onlyParticipation in Decision Making: ReducingViolence in Schools"Participation in Decision Making: Reducingviolence among youth by improving the publicpolicies for preventing and combating violence inschools at local level” is a PATRIR project, designed incollaboration with the Norwegian Peace Councilfrom Norway and Nansen Dialogue Centre Serbiafrom Serbia.Through this project, we aim to empower a multisectoralgroup of active citizens from Cluj-Napocathat, together with the project coordinators andforeign experts, will conduct a comprehensiveconflict analysis on the topic of violence in schools, inorder to bring improvements to the existing policiesthat should address it.The multi-sectoral group will be guided to make useof public consultations and dialogue sessions,awareness raising campaigns, create inter-sectoralpartnerships and based on an internationalcomparative study on the addressed topic, formulateand put forward 2 policy proposals to the Cluj-Napoca City Hall and Cluj County School Inspectoratethat will contribute to the preventing and combatingof violence in Cluj-Napoca schools.During the project, a comparative research onviolence in schools in Norway, Serbia and Romaniawill be conducted. The research will address the typeand causes of violence and the policies within thethree countries to tackle the violence. Dijalog i transformacija sukoba,Trening za učesnike akademske mreže Barencovog regiona, 20 - 25. oktobra <strong>2014</strong>, LilehamerUniverzitet u Tromseu uspostavio je saradnju i kreiraozajednički projekat sa Univerzitetom humanističkih nauka uMurmansku, Severnim arktičkim federalnim univerzitetom uArhangelsku i Državnim univerzitetom u Petrozavodsku, kao deoAkademske mreže Barencovog regiona, čiji je cilj jačanjesaradnje na krajnjem Severu. Elizabet Sandersen, šeficaadministracije u Centru za mirovne studije na UniverzitetuTromseu i Menadžerka projekta Ekaterina Trunova su osobeodgovorne za pokretanje i vođenje ovog uzbudljivogedukativnog projekta.Grupa od 22 učesnika pohađala je jednonedeljni trening koji suvodile Tatjana Popović iz Nansen dijalog centra Srbija i KristijaneZehauzen iz Nansen centra za mir i dijalog - NCPD. Menadžerkaprojekta Ekaterina Trunova izjavila je da je interesovanje zapraktičan rad u okviru polja izgradnje mira među ruskimuniverzitetima zaista veliko. Kao glavni razlog navodi daodređeni broj nastavnika želi da usavrši svoje profesionalneveštine i da primenjuje interaktivne pristupe učenju.Najvažniji ciljevi treninga bili su: predstavljanje dijaloga kaosredstva za poboljšanje odnosa među ljudma i kao dugotrajnogprocesa podrške zajednici, učenje i vežbanje veština za analizu irešavanje sukoba. Teorijski uvidi iz polja transformacije sukobapotkrepljivani su primerima iz prakse, od kojih su dva bilanajobuhvatnija: izgradnja interetničkog dijaloga upostkonfliktnoj situaciji na Zapadnom Balkanu i razvojinterkulturalnog dijaloškog procesa u mutikulturalnomnorveškom društvu. Učesnici su zamoljeni da koriste primere izsvog radnog okruženja tokom primene alatki za analizu sukoba,kao što su i fasilitatorke koristile pimere iz svoje radne praksetokom predstavljanja istih.Osnaživanje učesnika za ulogu agenta promena usvojim zajednicama ostvareno je kroz obučavanje zaprimenu Nansen dijalog pristupa, koji ima za ciljpoboljšanje odnosa među predstavnicima lokalnezajednice. Naglasak je stavljen na kreiranje dijaloškogprocesa tako da on odgovara potrebama ljudi iosnažuje lokalno stanovništvo. Rad u malim grupamasastavljenim od učesnika iz istog regiona bila je najboljametodologija za ovaj proces. Sve grupe su posvećenoradile na strateškom planiranju, definisanju tema iaktivnosti koje će biti odgovarajuće za društvenepromene u koje žele da ulože trud. Planovi supredvideli uvođenje Mirovnih studija kao programa najednom od univerziteta, kreiranje dijaloga izmeđuizbeglica i lokalnog stanovništva, kao i kreiranjetreninga za medijatore u privredi.Učesnici su izdvojili interaktivnu metodologiju iparticipativni pristup, razmenu ličnih zapažanja tokomdiskusija i učenje kroz zajedničko iskustvo kaonajkorisnije aspekte treninga. Mnogi su naglasili dasmatraju vrednim iskustvo rada sa fasilitatorkama kojeimaju različita, ali kompatibilna iskustva.Po rečima učesnika, trening ih je osnažio da započnu iostvare promene u svojim zajednicama, dao im jeznanja i veštine neophodne za primenu specifičnihdijaloških procesa. Fasilitatorke se osećajuprivilegovanim što su imale priliku da rade sa vrednom imotivisanom grupom ljudi, odlučnih da ulože svojuenergiju u važne promene u svojim društvima da bipodržali saradnju među važnim društvenim akterima.Tatjana Popović12


Dialogue and conflict transformation,training course for Barents Peace Education Network (BPEN), 20 - 25 October <strong>2014</strong>, LillehammerThe University of Tromsø has established cooperation andcreated a joint project with Murmansk University ofHumanities, the Northern Arctic Federal University ofArkhangelsk and the State University of Petrozavodsk, as apart of the Barents Studies Network, whose aim is toenhance cooperation in the High North. Elisabeth Sandersen,Head of Administration at the Centre for Peace Studies at theUniversity of Tromsø and project manager Ekaterina Trunovaare responsible for initiating and leading this excitingeducational project.The group of 22 participants attended a week-long trainingfacilitated by Tatjana Popović, NDC Serbia and ChristianeSeehausen, Nansen Centre for Peace and Dialogue. Theproject manager Ekaterina Trunova stated that the interest inpractical peace work among the Russian universities wasgreat. The main reason for that is that a certain number ofteachers wanted to upgrade their professional skills andintroduce more interactive approaches to learning.The most important objectives of the training were tointroduce participants to the dialogue as a tool for improvingrelationships among people and as a process of the long-termsupport of local community, as well as to practice conflictanalysis skills. Theoretical inputs from conflict transformationfield were combined with examples of practical work ondeveloping interethnic dialogue processes in post-conflictsituations in the Western Balkans and intercultural dialogueprocesses in the multicultural Norwegian society. Participantswere asked to work on analyising conflict situations fromtheir own work environment using the conflict analysis toolsfacilitators described bz using cases from their own workpractice.Empowering participants to become change agents in theirown communities was realised through training them to useNansen dialogue approach with the aim of improvingrelationships of local stakeholders. The stress was put ondesigning dialogue processes in the way so that theycorresponded to people’s needs and empowered localpeople. The best way to do it was in the small groupscomprised of participants from the same region. All groupswere very engaged in the strategy planning, in defining topicsand activites best suited for the particular change theyplanned to bring about. The plans envisaged intoducing thePeace studies as a course at one of the universities,establishing dialogue between refugees and domesticpopulation, creating the training for business mediators.Participants stressed participatory and interactiveapproaches, exchange of individual observations duringdiscussions and experiential learning as being the mostuseful. Many stated that it was valuable to work withfacilitators with different, yet compatible expereinces. Intheir own words, the training empowered participants tobring about the change in their own communities andequipped them with knowledge and skills necessary forimplementing specific dialogue processes. Facilitatorswere privileged to work with such a hard-working,motivated group of people determined to invest theirenergy in the important changes in their societies in orderto establish cooperation among important actors.13Tatjana Popović

Članice GPPAC i škole uregionu Zapadnog Balkana povodom ovog dana organizujubrojne aktivnosti.Mnoge škole, mirovni edukatori i aktivisti širom regiona supovodom 21. septembra <strong>2014</strong>. godine organizovale brojneaktivnosti koje su se istovremeno odvijale u mnogim gradovimau regionu kao što su: Beograd, Novi Sad, Podgorica, Ulcinj,Nikšić, Prijedor, Sanski Most, Zrenjanin, Vrbas, Inđija, Ruma,Novi Bečej, Niš i mnogi drugi.OŠ Miloje Čiplić, Novi BečejLajkujmo mir - OŠ „Oktoih“ PodgoricaU petak 19.9.<strong>2014</strong>. godine prvi čas posvećen je Međunarodnomdanu mira. Nastavnici su upoznali učenike sa idejomMeđunarodnog dana mira i podsticali učenike na mirnorešavanje sukoba, da pronađu kreativne načine kako oni moguda doprinesu miru i bezbednosti ljudi.Najbolji likovni radovi na temu „Ja lajkujem mir-mir je moj izbor“su poslati na konkurs, a ostali dobri radovi, kao i literarni sustavljeni na panoe škole. Učenici prvog razreda su crtali napločniku ispred škole, a drugaci su na belim balonima ispisaliporuke mira i sa tim balonima pozdravljali prolaznike ispredškole. Učiteljice su u trećem razredu održale radionice na temu„Mi širimo mir“, a četvrtaci su pravili plakate na istu temu.Za vreme trajanja svih aktivnosti, učesnici su ponavljali izabranimoto: „Ponašajmo se prema drugima onako kako bismo želelida se drugi ponašaju prema nama.“Aktivnosti pod sloganom „Lajkujmo mir“ povodomMeđunarodnog dana mira su u OŠ „Oktoih“ u Podgoricitrajale tri dana. Stariji razredi učestvovali su nalikovnom konkursu za mirovni kalendar, a mladimirovnjaci su kroz video poruke koje su prikazane najednom školskom odmoru poslali poruku o slagalicimira. Sjutradan su napravili mirovno drvo, kojesimbolizuje snagu mira u holu škole. Ono predstavljatehnike za suočavanje sa nasilnim ponašanjem.Mirovnjaci su sa događaja poslali poruku „I miglasamo za mir“ djeci širom svijeta. Koordinator iškolski medijator aktivnosti, učitelj Savo Kovačević,istakao je da se svakodnevno moramo boriti za mir itežiti miru, jer mir se postiže! THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE <strong>2014</strong>As in previous years, Nansen Dialogue Centres and the GlobalPartnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict – GPPAC aremarking 21 September, the International Day of Peace. Onthis occasion, GPPAC members in the Western Balkans areorganizing a number of activities.Many schools, peace educators and activists across theregion are organizing a number of activities on the occasionof this important international date. The activities aresimultaneously taking place in many towns and cities in theregion such as: Belgrade, Novi Sad, Podgorica, Ulcinj, Nikšić,Prijedor, Sanski Most, Zrenjanin, Vrbas, Inđija, Ruma, NoviBečej, Niš and many others.„Lets’ Like Peace“ - "Oktoih", PodgoricaActivities under the slogan "Lets’ Like Peace" on theoccasion of the International Day of Peace lastedthree days in the primary school "Oktoih" inPodgorica. Senior classes participated in the artscompetition for the Peace Calendar and youngerpeacemakers screened a video message on a peacepuzzle during one school recess. The next day, theymade a peace tree which symbolized the power ofpeace in the school hall. The teachers introduced students tothe idea of the International Day of Peace and encouraged themfor peaceful conflict resolution and to find creative ways in whichthey as individuals can contribute to peace and human security.The best artworks on the topic “I Like Peace – Peace Is My Choice”were sent to the arts competition, and the best essays werepublished in the school halls. The first graders made drawings onthe pavement in front of the school, while second graders wrotemessages of peace on white balloons with which they greetedpassersby. Third grade teachers organised a workshop titled "WeSpread Peace", while fourth graders created posters on the sametopic.During all activities, participants were repeating the chosen motto:"Let's treat others as we would like others to treat us."15


NDC Prijedor – aktivnosti u Prijedoru iSanskom MostuŠkole iz Prijedora i Sanskog Mosta u saradnji saNansen dijalog centrom Prijedor organizovale subrojne javne aktivnosti na temu „Mir je naš izbor“kojima su obeležavile Međunarodni dan mira.U Prijedoru je na Trgu kod RK Patria održan defilesvih škola učesnica sa temom „Mir je naš izbor“,učenici su iscrtavali pločnik, oslikavali otiscima znakmira na belom platnu i delili promotivne materijalesa mirovnim porukama. U Sanskom Mostuaktivnosti su ralizovane u parku na Zdeni defileomsvih škola učesnica, a tom prilikom predstavljeni suliterarni i likovni radovi na temu „Mir je naš izbor“uz muzičke tačke, poruke mira i podelu NDCpromotivnih materijala sa mirovnim porukama.NDC PrijedorNedelja mira u OŠ „Miroslav Antić“Ovo je treća godina za redom da Međunarodnidan mira obeležavamo čitave nedelje. Ove godinesmo se brojnim aktivnostima podsetili koliko jevažno živeti, raditi, učiti i igrati se u miru. Sviučenici od prvog do osmog razreda realizovali surazličite aktivnosti. Prvi čas bio je posvećen ovomdanu kroz petominutni razgovor. U holu ihodnicima škole bili su objavljeni crteži mlađih istarijih razreda, nastali kroz rad likovnih sekcija.Mlađi učenici su donosili bele balone sa porukamamira i kačili ih na ogradu škole i u hodnicima kadaje kiša padala. Poruke su pisali sa roditeljima.Pravili su i odeljenske panoe sa rečenicima mira iilustracijama. Učenici četvrtog razreda su imali čassrpskog jezika na temu „Mir u poeziji i prozi“.Školsko dvorište je bilo iscrtano motivima mira.U holu škole je i ove godine bila otvorena Knjiga mira u koju suroditelji upisivali poruke. Zainteresovani učenici su slikali i crtali natemu „Ja lajkujem mir-mir je moj izbor“ da bi se uključili u konkursNansen dijalog centra.U Danima mira Učenički parlament je učestvovao u debatama ihumanitarnoj akciji „Deca deci“. Tim medijatora (šesti, sedmi i osmirazred) učestvovao je na seminaru za rešavanje konflikata.Aktivnosti se nastavljaju iako je ovaj Međunarodni dan prošao.Uspeli smo da uključimo i ove godine mnogo nastavnika, učenika iroditelja.Dragana PejčićUčenici su realizovali radionice sa razrednimstarešinama na časovima odeljenske zajednice.Psihološkinja i pedagoškinja su održale tribinu sastarijim učenicima na temu „Mir u nama i okonas“. I ove godine su se realizovale zajedničkeaktivnosti mlađih i starijih učenika. Odeljenjadrugog i šestog, prvog i petog razreda su crtali uškolskom dvorištu, imali radionice u učionicama,igrali utakmice i pravili zajedno plakate.16

On the Square by HC Patria a paradeof all participating schools was held, and studentspainted the sidewalk on the topic "Peace is ourChoice", they painted peace signs on white canvasand handed out promotional material with peacemessages.In Sanski Most activities were organised in the parkon Zdena with a parade of all participating schools.On that occasion literary and art works on thetheme "Peace is Our Choice" were presentedfollowed by music numbers, peace messages andhanding out of NDC's promotional materialsNDC PrijedorPeace Week in PS “Miroslav Antić“This was the third year in a row that we markedthe International Day of Peace for the whole week.This year numerous activities reminded us howimportant it is to live, work, learn and play inpeace. All students from the first to the eighthgrade realised different activities. The first classwas dedicated to this day by five minutediscussion. In the school halls the artworks byyounger and older students that were made duringarts sessions were displayed. Younger studentswere bringing white balloons with peace messagesand hanged them on the school fence and in theschool hallways when it started to rain. They mademessages with their parents. They also madeclassroom billboards with peace sentences andillustrations. Students of the fourth grade hadSerbian language class on the topic “Peace inpoetry and prose”. The schoolyard was decoratedwith symbols of peace.Students realised workshops with theirteachers in head teacher’s classes. Psychologistand pedagogue held a lecture with senior studentson the topic “Peace In Us and Around us”. Thisyear too joint activities of younger and olderstudents were held. Classes of the second and thesixth, the first and the fifth grade were drawingtogether in the school yard, had workshops in theirclassrooms, played sports and made posters.A Book of Peace was opened in the school hall in which parentswrote messages this year as well. Interested students madedrawings on the topic "I Like Peace – Peace Is My Choice“ toparticipate in the Arts competition of the Nansen Dialogue Centre.During the Days of Peace, the Student Parliament participated indebates and the charity activity „From Children to Children“.Mediators team (sixth, seventh and eight grade) participated in acofnlict resolution seminar.Activities will be continued even though this International Day ofPeace had passed. OŠ „Nikola Tesla“ iz Novog Sada obeležila je Međunarodnidan mira sa porukom „Ja lajkujem mir - mir je moj izbor“.Tokom cele nedelje u školi su organizovane aktivnosti:pisanje poruka mira i ukrašavanje hola škole golubovimamira koji nose ove poruke, učenici su delili golubove miraod papira sa porukom mira na Telepu, posađeno je drvomira u školskom parku uz puštanje balona koji su nosiliporuke mira, započet je rad na otvaranju medijatorskogkluba, kao i projekat „Škole za mir“ sa prijateljima iz Tuzle iEngleske...... OŠ „Marko Miljanov“, Podgorica je obilježilaMeđunarodni dan mira (21. septembar). Sve aktivnostiodržane su u ponedjeljak 22. septembra: nastavnici suuvodni dio časa posvetili razgovoru sa učenicima na temumira, literarni i likovni radovi na temu mira izloženi su uholu škole, u sklopu učeničkog parlamenta održana jeradionica na temu "Čuvajmo mir", a na času engleskogjezika učenici VIII razreda obradili su temu "Peace".Učenici su na velikom odmoru u dvorištu škole pustitibalone u koje su ubacili poruke mira…... OŠ ,,Maršal Tito" – Ulcinj je kao i prethodne školskegodine priredila literarnu i likovnu izložbu, a učenici sunapravili poruke mira koje su izlijepili na stablimagradskog zelenila i stubovima gradske rasvjete 18.septembra......učenici i nastavnici OŠ „Učitelj Tasa“, Niš obeležili suMeđunarodni dan mira razgovorom o važnosti nenasilnogrešavanja sukoba i negovanja vrednosti poput tolerancije,ukrašavanjem hola simbolima mira. Povodom ovogdatuma zvanično je počo sa radom vršnjački medijatorskitim...... OŠ „Milija Nikčević“ iz Nikšića obilježila Međunarodnidan mira u ponedjeljak 22. septembra izložbom u glavnomholu škole, gdje su predstavljeni likovni radovi učenika,citati o miru, kao i info tabla o Nobelovoj nagradi za mir.Učenici - školski medijatori napravili su listu pjesama kojepromovišu mir, i pustili ih u toku velikog odmora…NDC Srbiji obnovljena akreditacija Programa za dveškolske godineZavod za unapređivanje obrazovanja i vaspitanja jeakreditovao program Nansen dijalog centra Srbija zastručno usavršavanje nastavnika Obrazovanje za mir –dijalogom do rešenja za još dve školske godine. Odobreniprogram objavljen je na listi odobrenih programa zastručno usavršavanje nastavnika, stručnih saradnika idirektora za školsku <strong>2014</strong>/2015. i 2015/2016. godinu,uključujući i listu Pedagoškog zavoda Vojvodine.Ciljeviseminara su: usvajanje veština i tehnika konstruktivnogrešavanja sukoba, rad na poboljšanju odnosa izmeđuučenika i nastavnika i rad na menjanju pristupa sukobima.PS "Nikola Tesla“ in Novi Sad marked the International Day ofPeace with the message "I Like Peace – Peace Is My Choice".During this entire week the school organised a number ofactivities: writing peace messages and decorating the school hallwith paper mache peace doves that carried the messages,students were giving away paper doves of peace with peacemessages in Telep, the opening process of mediation club wasstarted as well as the project "Schools for Peace" with friendsfrom Tuzla and England...…PS "Marko Miljanov" in Podgorica marked the InternationalDay of Peace (21 September). All activities were held on Monday,22 September: teachers dedicated the beginning of classes to thediscussion about peace, essays and artworks dedicated to peacewere exhibited in the school lobby. As part of the student'sparliament a workshop on the topic "Let's Keep the Peace" washeld, eighth grade students covered the topic of "peace" in theirEnglish Language class, while during the big break, the studentsreleased the balloons in which they put the messages of peace...…PS "Maršal Tito" in Ulcinj, as in previous years, prepared aliterary and artwork exhibition, while students created messagesof peace which they put up on the trees and lamp posts aroundtown on 18 September......students and teachers at PS "Učitelj Tasa" in Niš marked theInternational Day of Peace by talking about the importance ofnon-violent conflict resolution and fostering values such astolerance and by decorating the school lobby with symbols ofpeace. On the occasion of this date the peer mediation teamofficially started to work......PS "Milija Nikčević" in Nikšić marked the International Day ofPeace on Monday, 22 September, with an exhibition in theschool's main lobby where students' artworks, peace quoteswere presented together with a <strong>bulletin</strong> board made about thetopic on the Nobel Peace Prize. Students – school mediatorscreated a playlist with songs that promote peace which were tobe played during the big break...NDC Serbia Receives Programme Accreditation Renewal forTwo YearsThe Institute for Education Advancement has accredited aNansen Dialogue Centre Serbia's programme for professionaladvancement of teachers titled Education for Peace - ResolutionThrough Dialogue for another two school years. The approvedprogramme was published on the list of approved programmesfor continuous professional improvement of teachers, expertassociates and principals for the school years <strong>2014</strong>/2015 and2015/2016, including the list of the Pedagogical Institute ofVojvodina. The aim of the training is to develop skills andtechniques for constructive conflict resolution, to work onimproving relations between teachers and pupils and to work onchanging the approach to conflicts.NDC Serbia18


U regionu Zapadnog BalkanaGPPAC je povodom Međunarodnog danamira - 21. septembra organizovao likovnikonkurs na temu „Ja lajkujem mir - mir jemoj izbor“ za učenike osnovnih i srednjihškola iz regiona. Škole, nastavnici i učeniciprihvatili su poziv da se uključe uobeležavanje Međunarodnog dana mira iučestvovali su na regionalnom likovnomkonkursu sa preko 2000 učeničkih radova,što je najveći broj pristiglih radova uposlednjih pet godina, koliko NDC Srbija iNDC Crna organizuju mirovni likovnikonkurs.Centri su tokom poslednje decenijeaktivno radili na regionalnom projektuObrazovane institucije implementirajuobrazovanje za mir u saradnji sa brojnimškolama i resornim ministarstvima u regionu, amirovni likovni konkurs organizuju sa ciljem dauključe što veći broj škola, nastavnika i učenikaiz regiona u integraciju elemenata obrazovanjaza mir u nastavu. Ciljevi konkursa <strong>2014</strong> bili su:upoznavanje učenika sa idejom Međunarodnogdana mira; razgovor o digitalnom nasilju ipodsticanje njegove prevencije; podsticanjeučenika da pronađu kreativne načine na kojeoni kao pojedinci mogu da doprinesu miru;doprinos bezbednosti ljudi, toleranciji ipomirenju u regionu Zapadnog Balkana...JA LAJKUJEM MIR – MIR JE MOJ IZBORPromocija Mirovnog kalendara za 2015. godinu održana je u Beogradu iPodgorici. U Beogradu je Nansen dijalog centar Srbija organizovao okruglisto na temu Ja lajkujem mir - prevencija nasilja u školama. Učesniciokruglog stola govorili su o prevenciji nasilja u školama u Srbiji,restorativnoj medijaciji kao tehnici intervencije kada se nasilje dogodi,primerima i iskustvima u realizaciji programa prevencije nasilja umultietničkim sredinama na primeru škola u Vojvodini.Pobednički radovi regionalnog likovnog konkursa Ja lajkujem mir - mir jemoj izbor ilustrovali su GPPAC Mirovni kalendar za 2015. godinu.Međunarodna komisija za izbor radova izabrala je 12 pobedničkih radova,dok je glasovima Facebook publike odabran još jedan nagrađeni rad.Realizaciju likovnog konkursa i promociju Mirovnog kalendara podržali suGlobalno partnerstvo za prevenciju oružanih sukoba (GPPAC),Ministrastvo prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja Republike Srbije iMinistarstvo prosvjete Crne Gore.Po završetku okruglog stola predstavljen je Mirovni kalendar za2015. godinu i rezultati regionalnog likovnog konkursa Ja lajkujem mir –mir je moj izbor, kada su uručene nagrade i sertifikati Mladi grade mirpobednicima iz Srbije.Nansen dijalog centar Crna Gora je u Zavodu za školstvo dodelionagrade učesnicima Regionalnog likovnog konkursa Ja lajkujem mir - mirje moj izbor i promovisao GPPAC Mirovni kalendar za 2015.godinu. Učenicima je nagrade uručila Ivana Gajović, direktorka Nansendijalog centra Crna Gora, a na velikom uspehu na konkursu čestitala im jepomoćnica ministra prosvjete Crne Gore Vesna Vučurović.19


During the past decade, the Centres have actively beenworking on the regional project Educational InstitutionsImplement Peace Education in cooperation with numerousschools and ministries of education from the region. Theyorganised the <strong>2014</strong> peace arts competition with the objective toinclude greater number of schools, teachers and students fromthe region in the integration of peace education elements inschools. The goals of the <strong>2014</strong> competition were: to introducestudents to the idea of the International Day of Peace; to discussdigital violence and to encourage its prevention; to encouragestudents to find creative ways in which they as individuals cancontribute to peace; contribution to the security of people,tolerance and reconciliation in the Western Balkan region...The winning artworks of the Regional Arts Competition I LikePeace – Peace Is My Choice illustrated the GPPAC PeaceCalendar for 2015. The international selection committeeselected 12 winning artworks, while one additional artwork wasselected by Facebook voting. The Arts Competition wassupported by the Global Partnership for the Prevention ofArmed Conflict (GPPAC), the Ministry of Education, Science andTechnological Development of the Republic of Serbia and theMinistry of Education of Montenegro.The 2015 Peace Calendar was promoted in Belgrade andin Podgorica.I LIKE PEACE – PEACE IS MY CHOICEOn the occasion of 21 September – theInternational Day of Peace - GPPAC organised aRegional Arts Competition titled "I Like Peace –Peace Is My Choice" for primary and secondaryschool students in the region of the WesternBalkans. The round table wasfollowed by the launching of the 2015 Peace Calendarand the presentation of the results of the Regional ArtsCompetition "I Like Peace – Peace Is My Choice", theawards ceremony and the presentation of the YouthBuilding Peace certificates for the winners from Serbia.Nansen Dialogue Centre Montenegro held theawards ceremony for students from Montenegro whoparticipated in the Regional Arts Competition I LikePeace – Peace Is My Choice and the promotion of theGPPAC Peace Calendar for 2015.
