Parks and RecreationI will begin this year by reaching out to those who volunteer their timeto the community. Thank you. Thank you to those who serve on committees,coach teams, flip burgers, pick up trash and provide moralsupport to children participating in the different activities.Last year, I wrote <strong>of</strong> a skating rink that was set up for the winter season.It was a big success and has been even more popular this season.Volunteers constructed a warming hut to provide some shelter from thewind. We are researching a more permanent location for the rink aswell as people to help with the construction <strong>of</strong> the rink and the takedown <strong>of</strong> the rink. Skating under the lights is a fantastic winter activity!Thank you to those who made it happen.We are still looking for two new members to join the Parks & Recreationteam. We welcome two new members this fall, Griffin Manning and JoeHerr. We would welcome a couple <strong>of</strong> new faces to join our group.
