Health OfficerWell, another year in the book. 2011 was a slow year for the HealthOfficer which is good for the people of Warner. There were a few failedseptic systems and I did one inspection. As I continue to be the Health Officer I am surprised to find that townresidents are unaware that the Town of Warner has a Health Officerand that they are unaware of what I do. As a Health Officer I am appointedby the Board of Selectmen for a three year term. The scope ofwork is to enforce New Hampshire Public Health rules and laws, aswell as local ordinances, as well as serve as a liaison between stateofficials and the local community on issues concerning local publichealth. Examples of some of these are: inspections of day care andfoster homes, evaluation of septic system failures, and investigation ofoffensive odors. The best way to reach me is to contact Mary Whalen at the Selectman’soffice at 456-2298 ext. 2.Respectfully submitted,Paul DiGeronimo - Health Officer80
