Budget CommitteeFrom start to finish, 2011 proved to be another fiscally challenging yearfor the county, the state and the Town of Warner. Yet, thanks to theconcerted efforts of Warner’s leadership, the Town was well managedwithin the operating budget approved by voters in March. With the understanding that 2012 will most likely be another challengingyear, the Budget Committee worked closely with the Selectmen,Town Administrator, and Department Heads with the goal of presentingvoters with a proposed 2012 budget that reflects the economic times;one that is as level as possible while still maintaining the services citizensexpect. This year, the Committee welcomed new members and said “good byeand thank you” to departing members. The time, effort, and contributionsof each Budget Committee member is highly valued and trulyappreciated. We look forward to soon beginning the budget process for 2013. Asalways, we encourage citizens to sit in on the meetings, share theirthoughts with the Budget Committee, and participate in discussionsabout how their valuable tax dollars are put to use on behalf of all of thepeople in the Town of Warner.Respectfully submitted,Michael D.
