Article 8Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 7 as proposed bythe Planning Board for the Town Zoning Ordinance as follows:Amend TABLE 1 – USE REGULATIONS , under the ACCESSORY USESsection, by revising line #2 by deleting “Private day nursery” and adding“Day Care”. The purpose is to update the terminology.Article 9Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 8 as proposed bythe Planning Board for the Town Zoning Ordinance as follows:Amend by adding a new Article XIV-B - Accessory Apartment, containingprovisions to allow a lot to have one accessory apartment of noless than 300 square feet but no more than 50% of a primary dwelling’sbuilding area up to a limit of 1,000 square feet, if certain requirementsare met. An accessory apartment could also be located in a detachedaccessory building such as a garage with an apartment loft or a storage/barnbuilding. The intent is to add provisions to allow individualaccessory apartments in the Zoning Ordinance since there currentlyare no such provisions.and, amend Article III – Definitions, by adding a definition for “AccessoryApartment” to mean a separate complete housekeeping unitthat is contained within, attached to a single family dwelling, or withinan accessory building, in which the title is inseparable from the primarydwelling.and, amend TABLE 1 – USE REGULATIONS under the RESIDENTIALUSES section, by adding “Accessory Apartment” and indicate as beingpermitted in all Districts except Intervals Overlay INT and CommercialDistrict C-1.ADJOURN TO WEDNESDAY MARCH 14, 2012 @ 7:00 P.M.Article 10Shall the Town raise and appropriate the sum of $ 2,884,577.00 (TwoMillion Eight Hundred Eighty Four Thousand Five Hundred SeventySeven Dollars) as a 2012 Operating Budget?
