The intent is to leave the requirementsfor installation <strong>of</strong> underground utilities with the existing<strong>Town</strong> Building Codes (which has adopted the NH State Codes) andwith the utility companies’ own requirements.O. Any underground utility within a Public Right-<strong>of</strong>-Way or dedicated<strong>Town</strong> highway shall be buried no less than 36 inches below groundsurface and in schedule 80 conduit. [Amended March 1999]Article 4Are you in favor <strong>of</strong> the adoption <strong>of</strong> Amendment No. 3 as proposed bythe Planning Board for the <strong>Town</strong> Zoning Ordinance as follows:Amend Article XI – Commercial District C-1, by deleting paragraphH in its entirety as shown by strikeouts below. The intent is to allow anequal opportunity for this type <strong>of</strong> restaurant on all lots in the CommercialDistricts.H. No fast-food or drive-in restaurant shall be located on a site, lot orparcel within two thousand (2,000) feet <strong>of</strong> any other site, lot orparcel occupied by another fast-food or drive-in restaurant, withsuch distance measured along and/or across one (1) or more publichighway rights-<strong>of</strong>-way. The Planning Board’s Site Plan Review process for MultifamilyDwellings will still be required.• Changing One-Family Detached Dwelling from requiring aSpecial Exception to Permitted in Business District B-1• and, Changing Two Family Dwelling from Not-Allowed toPermitted in Business District B-1• and, Changing Multi-Family Dwelling from Not-Allowed toPermitted in Business District B-163
