<strong>Town</strong> Clerk’s ReportThe <strong>Warner</strong> <strong>Town</strong> Clerk’s Office provides a number <strong>of</strong> services. Some<strong>of</strong> these are: Vehicle Registrations – up to 4 months early – with quotesand renewals an option on the town website, New, Duplicate and AntiqueTitles, License Plate, Decal and lost Registration replacement,Change <strong>of</strong> Address with pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> residency, Short and Long Term Permitto Operate an Uninspected Vehicle, availability and ordering <strong>of</strong>various types <strong>of</strong> Vanity License plates, Dog Licenses, Voter Registrations,Marriage applications, Certified Certificates for Birth, Death,Marriage or Divorce, meeting minutes for <strong>Town</strong> Boards and Committees,historical records <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Town</strong> including Selectmen Meetings,Property Inventory, Vital Records, Oaths <strong>of</strong> Office, Highway Districts,<strong>Town</strong> Reports and Military Eligibility.It is also the responsibility <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Town</strong> Clerk’s Office to oversee Elections.New Hampshire continued with the tradition <strong>of</strong> holding TheFirst in the Nation Presidential Primary on January 10, 2012 with RepublicanMitt Romney and Democratic President Barack Obama eachwinning their Party’s majority vote in <strong>Warner</strong>.Other Elections to be held in 2012 are: <strong>Town</strong> Election, Tuesday, March13, 2012 followed by the Annual <strong>Town</strong> Meeting, Wednesday, March 14,2012, State Primary, Tuesday, September 11, 2012 and the GeneralElection, Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Absentee Ballots are availablethrough the <strong>of</strong>fice for residents unable to vote at the polls the day <strong>of</strong> anelection. All elections are held at <strong>Warner</strong> <strong>Town</strong> Hall, 5 East Main Streetwith polls open for voting from 8 AM to 7 PM. Same day Voter Registrationis available with Pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> Residency and a photo ID.On behalf <strong>of</strong> Bonnie Barnard and myself, I’d like to welcome MicheleCourser to the <strong>of</strong>fice. Michele has been a very positive addition sinceher start last August.<strong>2011</strong> was not without its challenges. Although some <strong>of</strong> the goals forthe <strong>of</strong>fice were delayed, I hope to move forward with achieving them in2012.
