eceived from hungry souls. Some tell of the sweetnessof the Truth at its very first hearing. Others tell of howincreasingly precious the Word of God grows, as theirstudy of it continues in the light of the Divine Plan ofthe Ages. Surely THE WATCH TOWER is the favoredplace for a review of the entire Harvest field! The Lord has greatly blessed the brethren who haveengaged in Class Extension work, especially in GreatBritain and America. There is room in this Departmentfor the talents of every consecrated child of God. TheHarvest is great. The laborers are few. All who arepraying to the Lord to send forth more laborers are surelyzealously watching for opportunities to take a hand in thework themselves. And all this energy is showing fruitage. There is nothing like it in the whole world. No moneyinducements! Everything is done from the love of theLord and His Truth, and from a great desire to "showforth the praises of Him who hath called us out of darknessinto His marvelous light." The blessing is two-fold.Not only are many thus brought into the light and causedto rejoice in the fullness of our Savior and His greatsalvation, but the laborers all receive spiritual refreshment,in proportion as they seek to lay down their livesand talents in the Harvest work.THE TRUTH IN FOREIGN FIELDSOur readers are aware that our Society has been doingsomething in South Africa and South India during thepast three years. Evidently the Lord's blessing in somedegree on the work in foreign lands led up to the sendingof an I.B.S.A. Committee to see the conditions ofthe heathen and to report. The report was given in theearly part of the year, and published in a special issueof this journal. We have received complimentary testimoniesrespecting the truthfulness of the Report and thekindly spirit with which those truths, not altogetherflattering, were presented. Some of these have comefrom foreign lands. As a result of that investigation it was decided thatconditions in heathendom warranted the expenditure ofsome of the Society's funds in proclaiming the Gospel ofthe Kingdom there. Accordingly, free literature wasprinted in six of the principal languages of India, the twoprincipal languages of China, in the Japanese and in theKorean. This literature was designed principally forthose professing Christ. But reports indicate that manynon-Christians have manifested eagerness for the studyof these things. The Bible story of the election of the Church to bejoint-heirs with Jesus in the Messianic Kingdom was newand palatable to many of the Christian natives and others;and the Bible assurance presented to them, that theirfriends and forefathers who have died in heathenish darknesswere not in purgatory nor a hell of eternal torture, but in the Bible hell, the grave, was a relief to many.
